Of his 100 only 53 resulted in victories....utterlly useless.....
by TEE BONE on Mar 18, 2012 12:01 PM  | Hide replies

such a useless fellow he was and is.............India would had definitely done better without him
This proves how selfish he was and is........
the victories include
Australia = 11 (all in asia only 1 in sydney)
Bangladesh = 4 (all in asia)
England = 3 (2 in asia 1 in england)
Kenya = 4 (2 in asia 2 abroad)
Namibia = 1
New Zealand = 6 (4 in asia 2 in New Zealand)
Pakistan = 2 (in asia)
South Africa = 4 (all in India)
Sri Lanka = 8 (7 in asia 1 in england)
West Indies = 3 (2 in india 2 abroad)
Zimbabwe = 6 (4 in asia 2 abroad)
This makes it clear that he can only play on docile Asian tracks agaist a hapless opposition and has ALWAYS failed when needed the most.....
Most SHAMELESS EVER BORN...........

India would never done better with out him...tell the serie which ind won without him.apart from one series.
Ok tell me another person who scored more centuries in overseas apart from sachin against best sides.
Dont always try to pull him down.

In current Asia Cup India must have had record a win against Bangladesh if he had not slowed down the run rate for his 100

"Selectors" should decide 'Retirement".
by RAKESH NAIR on Mar 18, 2012 11:47 AM

"Sachin" is playing for the "Nation" & not for his "Family" to decide on "himself" when to "Retire" or "Dropped".
Only "God" Knows how "India" is listening to these "Statements" on "Retirement"!!!
When "Ponting" was asked abt his "Retirement" ,he said its "Selectors" Job that is "Sportsmanship".
"Sachin" is "crossing" all the boundaries to be in "Record" Books!!!
But having said this in "India" we always have a Weak man (Srikant)at the Top post with "Decisions" made somewhere else(Corporate BCCI).
Also in this case both "Corporate BCCI" & "Opportunistic Corporate Media" are "Helpless".
"Records" only "Satisfy" Money making "Sponsors"/"Corporates"/"Opportunistic Corporate media"/"Individuals" as in "Team Sport" only "Team" matters & "Team India" is the Only "Brand" in "Team Sport".
"God" save "Indian Cricket"!!!!

who is selfish
by sachin on Mar 18, 2012 11:17 AM  | Hide replies

in ODIs he willingly choses to open & refuses to come down the order. Why ?

This affords him the opportunity to play maximum overs to score.

In Test he refuses to open. Why ?

Coz . bowlers are at their cunnung best, try to extract the best from the track & don't focus on curtailment but trying to get the batsman out with no field restrictions. By the time he comes at no.4 , bowlers are either tired or pace of the wickets has been gauged . This enables him to play w o pressure & score runs.

Contrast this with only one recent example.

W C final , Gambhir on 97 , india still not out of woods. Gambhir still goes for the shot & gets bowled. We can imagine what would have happened , if SRT was at the other end( which thankfully he was not ). Probably We would have felt ashamed if Bangla beat us.

W C holders were beaten by Bangla. Reason - the most selfish cricketer in the world.

Actually I do not understand why a one day opener should open in tests. For some time Australia had Mark Waugh and Adam Gilchrist opening in the ODi's, neither opened in Tests. As for tests, anywhere in the world of cricket, the best stroke-player of the team plays at 4. Just because Dravid has opened does not mean he should open. Actually this business of asking a middle order player to open in Tests does not always work out. Very few people have done this successfully. Maybe you can say Langer, Watson, Sehwag, Shastri,Jayasuriya, Dilshan but that is a very small list in about 130 years of the game.

>>in ODIs he willingly choses to open & refuses to come down the order. Why ?
As a openers need to give constructive innings to the team,so that comming batsmens will feel free to play.
I think no other batsmen in india has that capability.Gambhir can fit that position but he dont have much varieties in his shots and he always has less SR.
>>In Test he refuses to open. Why ?
Even in ODIs the bowlers feel the sme,always wish to get rid of openers early.

>>W C final , Gambhir on 97 , india still not out of woods. Gambhir still goes for the shot & gets bowled

The last three balls was unplayable by gambhir as the balls were reducing he has no other option rather come down the track and try for it.
Am not criticizing Gambhir...

Top of his Game ? DRAVID schored 5 centuries in 2011 ?
by VIRAAT SINGH on Mar 18, 2012 11:00 AM  | Hide replies

Schin took 11 months to score 1 hundred , SHAMELESS..

THE LAST 5 TIMES HE HAS SCORED A 100 INDIA HAAS NOT WON THE MATCH .

on the tour to South Africa in 2010-11, Tendulkar scored hundreds in two out of three Tests, but India won the game in which he didn't score one. In the World Cup that followed, India tied and lost the two matches in which he scored hundreds.

And then, of course, there was the 100th hundred itself, which resulted in India's first ODI defeat against Bangladesh in five years.

That means none of Tendulkar's last five international hundreds have resulted in victories.
