Does his 100 matter.. India Lost because of his slow run rate
by Ravi Israni on Mar 19, 2012 10:26 AM  | Hide replies

We Indians have the tendency to ignore the glaring truth.. India lost the game because of the slow run rate... are such 100s or double 100 really worth? Eeven Sachin knows the truth..will he say that..better he say that... he will be the real hero only then.

Yes Sachin slowed down when he reached 80s. That is bound to happen when one is approaching such a record. By the way I never thought Sachin was the only batsman at the center for RR to come down, was he? What about Raina and Kohli. Were they in the dressing room when Sachin batting alone on the field. Even they didn't hit 4s. Stop blaming Sachin.

More employers expect to hire than fire over the next three months, according to Manpower's Global Employment Outlook, a quarterly survey of over 65,000 employers across 41 countries.

The net employment outlook - the balance of employers expecting an increase in the size of their workforce over those expecting a decrease - is positive in 32 of the economies surveyed.

Hopes are highest in India and Brazil, driven by the services sector: nearly six out of 10 Indian employers in the service sector plan to expand their workforces before the end of June.

Let's have a look at the employment situation around the world, according to The Economist.

Sachin:only 53/100 resulted in victories????shameless....
by TEE BONE on Mar 19, 2012 09:20 AM  | Hide replies

such a useless fellow he was and is.............India would had definitely done better without him
This proves how selfish he was and is........
the victories include
Australia = 11 (all in asia only 1 in sydney)
Bangladesh = 4 (all in asia)
England = 3 (2 in asia 1 in england)
Kenya = 4 (2 in asia 2 abroad)
Namibia = 1
New Zealand = 6 (4 in asia 2 in New Zealand)
Pakistan = 2 (in asia)
South Africa = 4 (all in India)
Sri Lanka = 8 (7 in asia 1 in england)
West Indies = 3 (2 in india 2 abroad)
Zimbabwe = 6 (4 in asia 2 abroad)
This makes it clear that he can only play on docile Asian tracks against minnows or a hapless opposition and has ALWAYS failed when needed the most.....
Most SHAMELESS EVER BORN...........

NITIN RAJ
Sachin must continue playing at the cost of Sehwag
by NITIN RAJ on Mar 19, 2012 08:50 AM

sachin is not eating up any youngsters chances. He is playing instead of Sehwag. I think its good for India that sachin opens the innings and bat till 25 overs of a ODI game. Otherwise if sachin retires, Sehwag will take his place and he will throw away his wicket in the beginning putting immense pressure on the middle order. If yuvraj comes back, jadeja or yusuf pathan will pave way for him. Virat , Rohit and Raina combination must not be disturbed at the current scenario till atleast end of this year and after watching the team performance by end of this year, the selectors can take decisions. But we need to develop a pool of players in the reserves. During Srilankan tour, Sachin, gambhir should be rested. The likes of Tiwari, Utthapa, manoj pandey must be given opportunities.

yes we agree,that agin he proves ability to make slowest run rated centuries in last 2 years and ultimately that 20-30 runs short are difference between winning team like bangla desh and defeated india,s he m SRT must be given bharat ratna for defeating india agan and again by making slowest century,see virat's 180 runs in 140 runs in contrast,and like politicians SRT says ,it will be selfish to retire now,when many people want him retire except paid medias and chaplusi maker some idiot fans,Sachin must retire like rail minster trivedi with honour?

Sachin's Retirement
by ajay kumar on Mar 18, 2012 10:49 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin says it will be selfish to retire when at the peak of his career.First of all, making a century against Bangla Desh and that too on the flatest pitch in the world of cricket, is not a big thing to boast about or to be applauded to such an extent.
As regards Sachin's statement that retiring now will be selfish, has he ever thought how selfish has he been by not retiring and thereby occupying a place in the team which should be given to some young and deserving player ? If he is really unselfish, he should retire immediately after the Asia Cup so that other players like Virat, Rohit etc.get a place in the team.

guyus being judgemental is a form of selfishness
leave him to take decisions for himself

he is still better than some youngsters so till he can really bat around he should stay and inspire by his sheer presence

chances to youngsters is a myth - they should ear ntheir places and not wait for seniors to go and get an automatic uplift
similar situation exisits in the domestic cricket - we can see older player hanging around and making way only when a real good youngster comes along

we may have won the match today - but do we realy feel the way pravin and irfan bowled - they deserve to stay in the team - i personally dont think so
remind yourself how they bowled against BL - pathetic -- these are our youngsters - irresponsible and unprepared
