Sachin may be working for himself, like everyone else. But I don't want my tax payments to waive off duty on his Ferrari and to give him prizes from Govt treasury. Ok, Abhishek?
Yes, the wait has been too long by Sachin's standards, buts thats the way cricket and life move on. This (Asia Cup)seems the best opportunity to get the 100th century. If for some reason (though no explanations are wanted) he doesn't - then ATLEAST he should make way for some promising youngster cooling his heels. He can have another Test series and try his luck - should he fail again, then the writing is on the wall. Hang your boots great man, you've done more than any cricketer can dream of - leave alone acheiving it. Ideally, the best way to bow out should be - get a hundred and announce retirement after the tournament/series. Curtains ! You've done enough for the world to refer you for another 2-3 decades !

The best BCCI can do is to organize a test match between India and Kenya at a placid wicket like Gwalior or Indore. Also, give One crore to Kenya team to not bowl Sachin on the stumps and drop his catches, if any, till he makes his century.
Man, his advertisements shot one year back for the celebrations are biting dust and the sponsors have lost hundreds of crores.
