I'm not debating on whether sachin should or shouldn't retire as its the job of selector not the public nor it should be left on the player to take a call on that as nobody can leave the thing what he loves a lot. but selectors have to take a call if he's not good enough they should ask him to step down as nobody is bigger than the country they all are plaing for. He no more can be great cricker. If he was he should given chance to youngsters immediactely after winning the world cup. Only few cricketrs get that kind of chances
