Bhajji is a fighter and he is definitely gonna make a come back soon. Its disappointing to see that he has not contributed much in the near past. But axing him for coupleof poor series is not done.I think Indian has lost its aggression in the absence of players like bhajji and yuvi.
With Ashwin taking over in the 1-dayers, Harbhajan's rest over the last 6 months should be reconsidered for the Test spots.
For the upcoming SL Test series, we want to see the Varun Aaron and Yadav opening bowling combination and Mishra and one more spinner.
Even though, Harbhajan is available, Monish Parmar is the real successor as a genuine spinner of the ball, who is slower through the air. He is an ideal candidate for Tests. We have to see how Monish will do in the current domestic matches. He has been working on his action which has been under the scanner.
The 4 bowlers I am looking at is:
Yadav Varun Mishra and Parmar
Even though this combination is not accurate it has better strike ability since Indian bowling has been going for 600 runs plus and even NZ recently at SA have been able to control the SA score in tests.
He will be a burden to the team. But for his past achievement he deserves IPL and its time for him to make More money and settle/retire. He was always under the shadow of Kumble but when he was asked to lead, all his weakness was exposed. Time to forget and move on. Ohja/Ashwin are just ok bowlers but going back to Bhajji will be worst decision

It easy to comment cheesy here.Play some real cricket then u can get off this habit posting rubbish about Indian Cricket
Bikash has put forward interesting stats to show Harbhajan's decline. But he has not touched on the reasons for his downward spiral. These can be summed up as: A. Unfit body-Harbhajan is carrying excess weight and this is evidenced by his protruding paunch. This makes him less mobile and flexible while twisting his body during delivery. B. He is employing a negative line and bowling flat.He is much more effective when he bowls over the wicket.Instead he adopts round the wicket tactics to stem the flow of runs.Maybe this is because of ODIs. C.Dhoni'snegative captaincy of spreading out the field to save runs rather than to attack the batsman and get him out is a contributory factor. D.Harbhajan has also taken his position for granted and rarely is open to suggestions for improvement from others. E.If he is serious about his career he should become supremely fit physically and constantly seek the guidance of someone like Bishen Bedi, who could teach him a trick or two apart from pointing out where he is going wrong. It is upto Harbhajan himself to look at his problems objectively and seek solutions.
Any person with good cricketing knowledge will agree to the fact that a spinner needs pressure to be kept on other end to take wickets - as pointed out in this article he was donig fine till Kumble did that. But after that Indian bowlers have been leaking runs so much that Dhoni always asked him to bowl middle-leg line with deep fielders. These could work in sub continent where the ball misbehaves but definitely not abroad. Dhoni is just too arrogant to realize that! So Bhajji's downfall was partly due to his form Dhoni's lack of imagination abroad
