Should retire and focus on maling it large, also bad news from tendulkar, Musrafe Mortaza will be playing for bongladesh and he can make the ball bounce above knee high , making it impossible for tendi to play
as he is fighter only need to concentrate on game need practise he would definately come back and would be lucky person to be in indian team ,he is a positive person

he showed his fighting spirit when he slapped a fellow player in IPL, abused Australian players..he cant perform.,only hoping that selectors select him..

simple. because ashwin was not in the last cb series. during 2011 world cup ashwin was in the team.

U mean we have to carry on with Bhajji who is on a decline, not give a chance to any other player? I am not for Ashwin alone, but would also like to see Rahul sharma, Ojha in action...for the time being Ashwin is containing run flow in ODI's and is a pretty useful batsman..mayb thats the reason he is in the team...

Case dismissed. Bajji was there in previous England tour in 2007 which India won. He was also part of 2011 tour which india lost. Past performance does not justify current performance. Give chance to other players like ojha, Rahul sharma(but he cannot run to field a ball), Ashwin. Thats the way forward.
Re: WHY NOT
by Ideal on Mar 07, 2012 06:42 PM
Two off spinners means the ball turns in to right hander all the time - so there is no variation. So, that is ruled out. It should be one offie and one leggie or left arm orthodox. That will help with variations. I guess Ashwin and Ojha have done well in recent times. Harbhajan can get more wickets to bring a case to the table. He should not be automatic selection - atleast demonstrate that he is keen to take wickets and not think that his place is granted.
My dear lady, Gentlemens, Childrens and all my Friend. Today I am talk about the gentlemen Harbhajjan.
This Gentlemen problem is he very gentle for last 1 years on field. This make all batter hit easy run and not get out. Even our Kumble from Bengaluru can able to hit 6 on Bhajji ball.
Bhajji try to prove his kettle on domestic match to show selector in bad lights but instead he get thrash by local batters and not able to taken many wicket. His team feel why Bhajji came to her team.
Bhajji can try go to women cricket team to regain her form and confidence.
But when selector done good of outing Bhajji why Ashwin get select? Ashwin is come from Chennai and it all because of that Srikantha.
Nothing wrong in him making a comeback, atleast in tests. He gave us a lot to smile about, like the hatrick, monkeygate, sreesant slap (IPL), centuries against New Zealand, good bowling and some quick wickets against Australia/South Africa etc. Ashwin started well, but somehow seems to have lost the plot in the Australian tour. With Bhajji still in the situation for a comeback, it will be a competition between Ashwin & him. Selectors & Dhoni seem to have forgotten Ojha & Chawla. Rahul Sharma maybe good, but yet to make any sort of mark in international cricket. So, Bhajji is still in the race.

Finally a nice observation to end the article. Harbhajan before and after Kumble. Really Harbhajan needs a respectable and sensible tight bowler at the other end to get going, so that people take chances with him. He is of the Agarkar sort, who ll never mature to be a standalone commodity, but will be an entertainer in the ''bet supporting actor'' category.
He hasn't performed anywhere in any forms of first class cricket after his expulsion, to warrant a comeback into the indian team. In one of the ranji matches, he was seen getting hammered from the bats of UP players. Its only in one match which concluded just now, that he picked up 3 wickets and made a crucial half century with the bat. But one performance here and there is not enough to claim his place back in the national team. He has to show consistency in his game. There are players in the domestic circuit who keep on performing season after season and still don't find favour with the selectors. So what has bhajji got in special, to make a claim for his place after just one or two decent performances. He should not treat the Indian team as his ancestral home, wherein he can make a comeback whenever he wishes, no matter how he performs

Rajan Sahab, Harbhajan Singh has claimed India's First Test Hat trick and also with that 400 plus Test wickets and 2 Test centuries for the record books.
Do you still want him to prove himself all over again ?????
If Non performing batsmen can stay in Indian team, then why not a bowler of Harbhajan's class ???

Non performing Bhajji stayed in the team for 2 years, after that he was dropped. Batsman will also drop.
