mr basavaraja, very soon rediff will open a webpage in regional languages. please use that to express your views. we realize that your views here are intented to be meaningful, but unfortunately they sound like a 2 year old reciting nursery rhymes.
If I post more than a sentence, it is deleted! Our players also work on that premise; any ball could be their last. Have a go, and leave it to chance. The other teams have more self-confidence to win. We have no planning. And like in this forum - one man obsession, not the interest of the team! All eleven have to gel and work as one. Anyway, like the life span of heroines in films, they make money quickly - who cares in the end. The followers are the losers in the end - hoping against hope!
this team had played very poor cricket. remove sehwag and laxman from test side and ask dravid and sachin in next otherwise go and relax. rahul, sachin, vvs had done everything for india but now its high time that we took some bold steps for sehwag he is king only on flat pitches otherwise he is good for nothing. tell dhoni u r not a good captain the team played good whenever he won something so tell him perform or perish

once upon a time it was a mumbai dabba wallas team..not so long ago, it was karnataka karabath team..so thers nothing wrong with this team being chennai super kings as long as players perform..

Corract. How can Chennai super kind team became the Indian Team?
We has to put many Indian player from Kolkata Knight Rider or Pune Warrior because it have many good India player.
Also, Virat Kohli, Sachin, Gambhir and Sehwag is all from Chennai Super King only.

no, because this same team had performed well during 2008

no, the same IPL and Ads were existing during 2008 as well.
3. was it due to presence of seniors?
25% yes, because, in the last tour, though they had performed well, and as they have grown 4 years old(not young) now, hence may be the reflexes and body to brain coordination may be weak.
4. was it due to team disunity?
75% yes. this was not the case in 2008 as every one rallied around kumble to take on the abuses and monkey gate episode from the aus..
so, the debacle is a combination of carrying too many oldies and baldies in the team and the disobedience of some players towards the captain.
Ask the groundsmen to prepare pitches and tracks similar to those in Aus & Eng. We have flat pitches which hardly help bowlers. Pick your players who can excel in such pitches and not based on stats on indian soil like Rohit Sharma and the likes. Order investigation into both the series and produce action plan that shall include axing some of the players. Instill discipline such that only captain talks during series and 'talking' during a series should not be 'free for all'. Show the exit door for those violating discipline, the likes of Gambir. Though Sachin drew a blank in both the series, he never spoke anything and he left it to the captain to do the talking. Jrs need to learn such things from Srs. So also Dravid and VVS. The absence of Yuvi has dented our middle order & Dhoni tried his best but in vain on most occasions.
