Dhoni has taken india to No1 position in test. He is a keeper and he is an allrounder who comes down in the order. Gambhir is not a good replacement for Dhoni
This suggestion based on IPL ? IPL is just a commercial circus, don't ready much into it or it's results. It's supposed to be watched with popcorn. Don't take IPL seriously.
A captain is only as good as his team. Dhoni has captaincy experience far more than Gambhir. Lets have some faith on Dhoni. Because there are not many test players left in Indian team anyways.
The focus of debate should be our bowling attack in test matches instead of captaincy. We just don't have right people in tests.
And we just cannot afford to loose another test series.

Dhoni has consistently on pitches where ball moves and also on bouncy wickets. Dhoni has only one century outside India in international cricket. Dhoni is just a flat track bully. Where as gambhir has played some decent knocks in tough conditions. Gambhir can be a much better captain!!

How do u forget so early. He had saved a test match in new zealand. No batsman performed on australian tour except kohli gambhir was not alone.
