Mr Gambhir can in no way be compared to Mr Dhoni, who has proved the world with achievements. Just because of loss of a few tests, please do not undermine Mr Dhoni.
Gambhir success at IPL is no way takes him to lead the COuntry. In an IPL he was helped by four foreign players and success followed., if at all DHoni is to bereplaced it should be with either Sehwag or Kohlli\'
No, not at all, Gambhir can never match Dhoni. It rediculous comparing both of them. Just by wining IPL he cannot be compared to Dhoni. If that is the criteria then Dhone is much ahead of Gambhir.

YESSS.....DHONI IS MUCH AHEAD OF GAMBHIR....IN GETTING OUT AT ZERO..OR OUT BEFORE REACHING 10,15 AND 20 RUNS MORE THAN ANY ONE PLAYER...
SIR JI,,, DHONI IS CHALLENGED TO BE A STYLISH BATSMAN///HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY A FORWARD DEFENCE SHOT....HAVE YOU SEEN HIM PLAYING THAT SHOT EVER...HE PLAYS ONLY ONE SHOT ...THE WIDE OPEN LEG SHOT....EVERY TIME HE PLAYS,, HE JUST OPEN HIS LEGS, INSTEAD OF OPENING THE FACE OF THE BAT...

Dhoni came into the game as a wicket keeper, who can bat not as a bats man. Every one knew he was not a technically sound batsman. Compare his average and strike rate with any other no 6 or 7 batsman in the world. When he got the captain ship, it was an experiment by BCCI. It was his cool attitude which made captaincy work for him. Gambhir is a good batsman, but you have seen him how he got out in first 6 innings in AUS series. IPL does not prove him to be TEST captain. At best, he can take captaincy for T20.
IPL is for fun. Players of one state playing for different teams. Pride of neither a state nor acountry is at stake. IPL is not for selecting captain. It is funny to think about making a winning team's captain as Team India Captain.
This is an unwanted topic. Rediff creates mess by publishing these kind of articles. Dont come to a conclusion with IPL. That is not a real cricket. Only Test match is the real cricket. I feel Dhoni is doing his best. No one is in hurry wants to replace. This is a ridiculous topic
