India won only 13 test out side India, India won 11 test out side India and it is happens in Sourav Ganguly time. We lost continue 8 tests out side India in last year. We beat W.I. in our country, I think it is right time to change India test captain. Because Mr. Dhoni failure to lead Indian test team. IPL is short term cricket 1 match = 3 hrs. test cricket 5 days cricket. There has total 15 sesation, you cannot win a test one sesation good paly, total 15 sesation mean 45 hrs. you need to show your best performance, then you can win a test match. Mr. Dhoni won T20 world cup, ODI world cup, T20 IPL 2times, but he lost Indias No.1 test cricket position. This is right time to change Indian test captain.

you said so much without addressing the real question ..who should replace dhoni...dada? no way..he was good when he played...he cannot return the clock.....for the present Dhoni is sufficient..

Dhoni should stay as Captain atleast for two yrs and then it can be given to his Dy. Virat Kohli, but Gambhi or Viru don't deserve this slot because they don't know ABC of captaincy and they both are arrogant and proudy and cannot handle pressure well.

there is no need to replace Dhoni, he is doing fine..for atleast one/two more years he should continue...then perhaps gambhir / kohli / pujara may stake a claim..

Gambhir is a man who is on sky after winning a domestic event and giving immature statements in media while Virat has won U-19 WC for India as captain.

MSD is not a Test Cricketer...Best in Limited overs and T20 format..IMO If india need captain in Test Matches then selectors should think about GG or Kohli...But Test specialist wkt keeper is also not available ..So MSD should continue as a captain ...no choice MSD is a better wkt batsman than others like Karthik, Naman Ojha, Uthaappa, Saha, Bisla etc... There is no strong competitor available in the market for MSD..:)..kya fortune hai MSD ka yaar.. Same fortune applies for Sir Ravindra Jaddu..Yusuf is failing constantly..Irfan not impressive in his bowling..Ashwin is unpredictable as an all rounder..who is next...I think 5-6 years no future All rounders...Jaddu teri to nikal padi....chhaple paisa..but you will not register your name in the cricket history.

Thats what I want to say. There is no replacement for Dhoni. Neither as a wicketkeeper batsman nor as a captain.

what rubbish is this? indian cricket is facing so many issues like greats retiring and no one capable of replacing them. bowling is perhaps better only to bangladesh and at par with west indies. one issue that we are not facing is that of captaincy. so why discuss it. while looking at these numbers one should not forget dhoni is also a wicket keeper. as for gambhir, his averages are bloated by a purple patch that he had for a year when he won test cricketer of the year. right now i would not be more assured of his place in the side than dhoni's if both were not captains. since dhoni is a wk also. and if not dhoni, why gambhir and not someone else?? dont tell me because his side won IPL
