for the sake of india cricket, Tendulkar should opt out of cricekt match, let him not delcare his retirement, so that he can retire after another 10 years and play a last unimportent game agaisnt some minnows and declare his retirment with cetury and a one more record of being in cricket for 40years....
India will be better off in all forms of cricket without him. The disastrous tours of England and Australia proved beyond doubt that oldies should make way for the youngsters so that they can gain experience. If we are going to lose 8 consecutive tests by huge margins with the oldies continuing to hang in there, why not do so with the youngsters which will at least help them to gain experience? Hope the selectors and Tendulkar (who is given the option of deciding when and where he will play) realise this. He has done yeoman service to Indian cricket and it is time he retires. Perhaps if the advertisers promise him that they will continue to use him even after his retirement, he may retire as the moolah will continue to pour in!

gully cricketers only can definitely question Tend. Even quite seniors in Indian team would obey Ten because he is the only person who can stand and play against any attack. india lost many games because other players have not supported him and his playing. whenever Ten makes Century, nobody else gives support and duck out. shame on u guys dear

WHY BIASED TREATMENT FOR DRAVID, THE GREAT VALUABLE PLAYER OF THE WORLD. PEOPLE IN POWER LIKE VENGSARKAR/GAVASKAR CO. AND FEW IN BCCI ALWAYS PUSH TO KEEP SACHIN IN SQUAD. tendulkar is tendulkar, india always had upper hand when he is in team. in this era we have tendulkar earlier we had others like mankad, viswanath, gavaskar etc.. tomorrow somebody will come so that's it
I challenge tendulkar to retire before 2014. 100 crores riding on contract and endorsement. Until then he will say i am enjoying the game and passion for country. crazy fans of tendulkar will buy this idea and become happy for whole one week. bharat mahan
No one in indian cricket team can match , stature of sachin in both capablities and achievements.he could be binding factor and motivating factor for team .
