He probably had the best debut that anyone can ask for ...as a pace bowler, you expect to exploit the perfect conditions ar Perth. But this dodo was bowling at 120 Kmph. And with the bat, he was terrible. Ashiwn would have atleast contained at one end with the ball, and scored soem 30-40 useful runs at the lower order with the bat.
Kohli was going nice in the 2nd Inn, but was running out of partners. He should have had Ashwin, and they would have gone and made some 50-60 runs partnership and avoided atleast Inn defeat.
If Vinay can't perform in the pacy conditions at perth, what do you expect him in indian pithces. He has absolutely no future in test cricket. let him njoy in IPL stint and an occational presense in the ODI/T-20 squad and not dream about TESTS. What Wasim said was spot on.

I dont get it. How can a medium pace bowler become a tearaway fast bowler just because the pitch is good for fast bowling? He should not have been selected, the fastest bowlers in India are Varun Aaron and Ashok Dinda none of whom unfortunately were in the team in this test.

you think srikanth is the single man army of BCCI who can take any decision he wants ? there is a lobby behind everyplayer's inclusion in the squad and this is a dirty politics played by BCCI gurus.
Every body is talking about performance of laxman, dravid, tendulkar and about there retirement. What about Dhoni and Sehwag.?..there performance being ????? Should sehwag and dhoni not retire earlier than Tendulkar...Better to consider retirement on the basis of performance rather than the Age.
Tendulkar,Dravid,Laxaman,Ganguly and Kumble must be honoured with Bharat Ratna award this years for their unparalled and invaluable service rendered to Bhrat Matha
Its sport...win or looose is written...but surrundering the way Indians did...not acceptable. early days we hardly loose successive matches. now its a fasion. Give fight u have time...not adopting better give way to others. how long the old people can continue. think of aussie board, they were about to drop Ponting and Hussey...Wake up Srikkanth...so mnay youngsters wasted their careers becas of these old horses occupation of places. there should be rotation policy. irrespective of performance.
if seniors are only winning matches y do v need younger players,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,alllll guldooo indiansssss....................they dont hae soprtsmanship,,,,,,,,,always want india to win,,,,,,,,,,,,,tell everybody, if u want senior players to winn the game 4 u what about yonger players, are they in the team to cutt comthing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,common people wake up,,,,,,,, think it as a game ad let them play,,,,,,,,,,just play,,,,,,,,,,,,dnt make money making politics of thissssssssssssss
u dont have any right to talk about shame or anything else akram, its a game, anybdy can loss and win, idiot u first talk about ur country's bribing players
if evry1 thinks about future, what about present people, they too need classic games, its all in the lower level, if u have foundation right the future will be great for cricket, if the quality is kept upto par @ state level, or in domestic level, we can select more than 11 national teams to perform on behalf of India...........basics need to be perfect, ,,,, years past so many came & gone, classic players like Sachin, Dravid, Lakshman stayed......... gangoly lost his place due idiot BCCI's politics, now the money making idea of This Stuppid BCCI will destroy the classic cricket in its heaven..............
