Well said Irani, he will surely be rewarded because there is no "fearsome" series till the end of 2013. All flat track series till then. No real talent test in those flat/spin tracks. Our cricketers seem to be born on those very tracks!

sadly we understood it too late. minority who did not agree or considered Dhoni to be test materials were rebuffed ,barracked but the truth is being realised.
Indian team always dependent on individual Talents, where as Australians mainly focus on Fitness and training. This will be the outcome, When talent fails compounded with the lack of fitness. More then the players it arrises doubts on the capabilities of coach Duncun fletcher.BCCI should wake up now and take some serious action plans to overcome these failures in future.
Dhoni risinge to fame in one dayers(World cup win in India including)and rise to no 1 spot surprisingly(without beating Eng,.Aus & SA on their home turfs) was construed to his being the greatest Indian captain ever. However when u ride too much on luck and the goddess deserts u in adversity u lose ur false aura ,u r thrown off pedestal!
Dhoni it seems had no communication with ch. of selectors for last 18 months, didnt even pick up Srik's phone as well!' He had to see this day !!

So true.... And his fanatics believe that India won all these days because of him, and India is losing the match because of other players.
