Team India
by rambabu kakkireni on Jan 21, 2012 02:40 PM

After winning the 2011 World Cup, the intensity levels in team members have come down drastically. This is resulting to poor performances in England and Aussies. Even against the WI, India struggled to beat them at home and in WI. The fire within the team members was not the same may be due to age or complacency. The BCCI has to make it clear to team members either they should perform or perish. Otherwise, results would be the same.

wrong playing 11
by vaibavalakshmi on Jan 21, 2012 02:16 PM

looks like greg's period is coming again. There is a lack of motivation among the players. Though brushed aside there seems to be an apparent rift in the team. The body language of some players speak it.No team spirit. and wrong playing 11 selections.

what ails indian team

The absence of a performance ( win) based incentivised reward system with a reasonable basic pay per month . If you get loads of money whether you play well or not, akes the players not committed to the country's honor as well as the game . Only if you win, you get money and if you win tournaments and series , you get more or less the same money as you get today, then players will strive to win and not lose .

Team India's poor performance
by saurabh chowdhury on Jan 21, 2012 01:27 PM  | Hide replies

I guess it is a combination of all. However what matters is whether BCCI will do anything to rectify it or not. They know that indian public's memory is short. The next test series that India will play at home will be against New Zealand on docile tracks which should be a cakewalk for our famed batting line up (with due respect to New Zealand bowlers). There will be many hundreds scored by the indian batsmen , "we will feel happy" - as stated by Srinivasan and of course everything will be forgotten until the next away series outside the sub continent arrives. Very sad state of affairs....

Its not either complecency or IPL but reason for their failure are with them since most of the players are having there wives during tour nither they are concentreting on practice nor they are fully concentreting on wives and in the end both becomes losers but main looseres is us the are getting paid for every thing but we expecing them to do good and make us proud but they are just playing with our imotions shame o them.

That we can not help the greatest of all players in the world sri SRT the great Ballatod batsman. Why on earth can't we fix one more match when we are able to fix so many other useless matches. This would be a great achievement to have 100th 100, this will pave the roads in india in every nook and corner, this will give food to 120 bn indians, this will give sanitation and clean living for every indian, this will provide housing for all indians and further more this will be perfect pitch to give 'bharat diamond' to this great ballatod batsman. Lets for one more time fix the match with aussies to make his 100th 100. plz plz plz...
