you are correct.. unless the aussies beat india in india they cant become no.1, because indians are tigers at home and thats what counts. being a frog in a well is blissful ignorance, just like your thinking.

Once ipl starts everything will be forgotten. Even india's 2011 WC win was forgotten quickly, thanks to the ipl.

Definitely IPL will give a new lease of life for the oldies in the Indian team. IPL will also expose players like Dravid and shamelessly they will still continue playing cricket.
