SHAMELESS SENIORS CLAIM THEMSELVES BEST IN THE BUSINESS
by RANJIT KAR on Jan 15, 2012 11:03 PM  | Hide replies

Now BCCI must act firmly, no mercy just take strong decision and the players right from Sachin, Laxman & Dravid be immediately dropped if at all they are not announcing their retirement. The captaincy from Dhoni should be given to some one else even if he is junior in the team and his service should be only a keeper nothing else.....Rohit Sharma like new comers who are knocking the door for inclusion should immediately be called to replace all Seniors. If we are losing with young team does not matter, but we are defeated to much younger team like Australia with No. 1 No. 2 (in Black & white only)in the team and still loosing by an innings and games are over in three days then why these players inclusion be there what is the justification........Srikant is very dynamic and hope that decision takes should be like his nature

Thanx for the compliments...

Now you'd shout for Yadav to immediately retire from the Indian team, I presume? :)

performing at home? first they must win away series consistenly to become no. 1....they became no. 1 without defeating india in india...neither steve waugh could win in india nor ponting could and their teams are supposed to be invincibles!

so winning ONE series in the last so many years is supposed to make them no. 1...then we might have not won series but we certainly have won some tests in aus...

besides like i said waugh did not win test series in india and ponting did not captain his side to a test win in india...and like i said they must win consistently in india to be really called no. 1 side...

so they win one series at home and got the right to be called the best in business? what about the england series where they got thrashed in their own countr?...:-)

THREE INNINGS DEFEAT in ONE series at HOME!!!...:-)

India has certainly not reached THAT low level as yet!!...:-)

When they got thrashed they were not the number one.
Check the facts..
We are getting thrashed whilst we are still ranked higher than Australia..

so now you are bringing excuses like CURRENT rankings are you? and what when under dhoni (his first captaincy assignment) we won the tri series in aus? at that time there were no seniors in our side except sachin who was a miserable failure in league matches...at that time where were we as a odi side? and aussie were no. 1 odi side, they were playing at home and were playing with their full stregth...

then by your logic whenever we were beaten and we were ranked lesser than the opposition those results/those losses are not to be discounted, right?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: ausis

and by your same logic when aussie defeated other countries when they were ranked no. 1 or ranked above their opposition they were expected to win anyway since they were supposed to be the stronger side...so what is their greatness in winning against low rated countries...just as much as our winning against low rated countries...

so if we winning against sides like pak, nz, sl, wi, bd etc. is useless so is aussies winning against such sides without any merit...

so really by your logic aussies have not done too many earthshattering things as yet...

sorry i mean, then by your logic whenever we were beaten and we were ranked lesser than the opposition those results/those losses are not to be counted/given any importance, right?

so nothing great done by aussies whenever they defeated us when they were ranked above us...correct...:-)

sachin is playing cz if he skips this series sm intelligent cricket fans wl cry on this forum that he wl play in IPL n nation is secondary for him n IPL is prtimary for him. a few months back he skipped a series n every tom, dick n harry started crying that his injury is fake n wl play in champions league bt he didnt cz he ws injured. so if he skips this odi series n plays IPL, people wl cry that he is after money n dsnt think abt nation. he is a rich rich men bt our politicians r much more richer thn him n certainly sachin hs dn much for nation n hs made India proud on world scenario in comparision to our corrupt politicians.

also yuvraj is nt playing so we need a gud n experienced batsman in aus, jst like dravid who played odi in eng recently.

as far as sachins 100 ton is consider, it wl cm soon n even if it never comes even thn in history of 135 years of cricket no one hs scored even 90 tons other than sachin n in coming 135 years no one wl score 90 tons.

history wl remember sachin tendulkar greatest batsman ever played n we mst be proud that he is an INDIAN :)

I dont care about whether India lose or India win. Nobody will remember this loss 10 years down the line. But everybody will remember Sachin's 100th hundred. So more than Indian win, I want Sachin 100. After 10 yrs, everybody will remember that an Indian has 100 100s. Who cares about today's test loss.

It might be time that we commoners are ashamed of ourselves to pay through our noses to watch IPL matches !!

By paying through our noses, we sustain frivolous cricket and inanities such as cricketers' and 'Bollywood celebrities' glamour !!

Only we commoners end up losing !!
