if getting bowled out for 48, 98, and 124 is your idea of being best one gets the idea of your standards for being best....i think BD is the best according to your ideals...i think they score the above types of scores more often than australia...so that makes them better than australia...and therefore the best according to your standards of excellence...

And it seems you have got really short memory saying aus does not get defeated by an innings! forgot the series against england where aussies got defeated by an innings THRICE in one series? india certainly hasnt reached THAT KIND OF LOW yet!
and BTW do you know in which country where aussies and england were playing when these THREE defeats by an innings for australia came?

Sachin reportedly requested BCCI to allow him to play ODI tri-series in there. Obviously, he still believes he can pull off a century and attain the land-mark before bowing out.
Just winning against India , is mcuh easier - than against England , South Africa who have very good bowlers . Even Pakistan has good bowling .Unfortunately India has not developed good bowlers spin or fast . The pitches are dead or turn square on day one . with so much emphasis on IPL ,CL etc which forms the basis for selection - as you can in Ranji Trophy even 8,9,10 & 11 end with half centuries or centuries is no great tournament with emphasis on first innings lead . BCCI calims as best run sport is clearly exposed . Business and profits are good - but gredy business and profiteering is bad and BCCI is in the later category.

Wait for jus one another series. India will win and every body will change their statement. They will start praising Sachin and others... Sometime I heard that in looser team God of Cricket also playing. Now the time to rectify our believes about truth. Who is God actually.. But then test cricket is actual Test of cricket.We can't escape this version of the game if we are following ODI or 20-20.Even Indian Life is much more like test cricket.Lets not make it shorter and quick-fix too.And enjoy the game lets try n concentrate on shortcomings.
Cricket is one thing which helps us get marked.
Nation is definitely poor so is our cricket, but feeling of a nation is contributed by cricket and the so called poors who don get to watch cricket even, ask for the match reports I know that. So lets keep faith....:)
We don want to ban sports do we...? Of course we are going through cricket fatigue!!
