A lot of discussion etc is being carried out in every media,about the result of the test series. I believe the under lying reason is indian cricket is loosing its commercial angle. It is no more a profitable business. Hence the worry.
Mr Srikanth... the biggest mistake you and ur team did is to have excluded Bhajji from the team....
The only fighter in the team....Bhajji has always been a threat to every opposition esp. the Aussies... Then basis 1 test series performance...why did you guys devastate the career of a great bowlerlike Bhajji who is just 30 and has taken >400 wickets and is considered as one of the best off spinners in the world by all sane cricketers around the world!!!
Is it so important to bring mediocre player like Ashwin in place of Bhajji??? Is Regional favourism so important????
Without players like Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh...the team looks so dull and weak!!!!

Ashwin reallt stole the spot with great show in series against WI ...But yeah Bhajji was needed ..Yuvi was not fit..still he is not..hope u know abt his tumer thing..bless his heart...
The only frontier now Sachin has to surpass is being the oldest player playing this game. currently I guess it is held by wilfred rhodes at 52 years. so sachin is just 39 yrs. give him atleast 14 more years.

very well said. he has been playing for money for so long. n still even afer earning money, he doesnt hv to pay tax on ferrari.
One gr8 youngster who promises to be India's next Wall said that Aussies will have problem facing swing bowling.... I guess he wouldn't be wanting to show his face to aussie media... and would be having a tough time in the ODI series.
Every commentator is talking about excluding Laxman and Dravid to give oppurtunity for youngsters. No one is talking about Tendulkar, he failed miserably against England and Australia and hardly ever contributed to India's victory abroad except for creating personal records. Dravid and Laxman won many many more matches than Tendulkar abroad (In India, even second strung Ranji players can win matches for India).
Tendulkar is eagerly after records, so even at this age atleast in One Day's he is not giving way to youngsters. Except for records, there is no other reason why he should be in one dayers. World cup is done, and all the known records are there. There are so many youngsters, who are more capable now, looking for a spot atleast in Onedayers and he shamelessly still plays in them and prevents chances for youngsters. Time Mumbai media, represent real facts. And the Mumbai commentators shun this regionalism. Till then no one can help India.

That is the big taboo in media. SRT is somehow untouchable. He should be the first to go. Sauravs logic on dropping dravid ahead of sachin does not fly.

Its not regionalism dude...Its Bramhnism...All commentrators - Gavaskar, Shastri, Bhogake - are bramhins....Like private sector, they have a monopoly there too

What do you mean by "failed miserably". Sachin has been the India's second highest run-getter in England Series and now he is the leading run-getter in the current series verses Australia. At the most, one can say that he had failed by his own high standards. Coming back to one-day matches, he was the highest run-getter for India in last world cup and stood second only to Tilakratne Dilshan among all players.

I fully agree with other in condemning the selection of Parthiv & Vinay.Where is our street fighter Dinesh?Better sense should prevail.Irfan has done nothibn=ng in domestic cricket to find a place in the team.This is sheer stupidity.
