no one should blame. when team wins then they are there to take credit...but in loss they should not be blamed. lets blame it on pitch condition..funny creatures

Will Kris Srikanth resign? he created the whole mess
by kumar on Jan 06, 2012 10:09 PM  | Hide replies

The Simple answer is Krish Srikanth. He created this whole mess of unhealthy environment. He selected players based on regional feelings. He also selected questionable players so that his tamil nadu players can get selected with no issues.Look at the players he selected from Tamil Nadu

Murali Vijay - Failer miserably
Abhinav Mukund - Failer miserably
Badri -Failer miserably
Dinesh karthik - Forget about it. Too much waste of investment
and Now Ashwin -- Too many chances as a backup player. Was on bench for nearly 2 years in the name of grooming

He made questionable decisions/blunders so that he can select the Tamil nadu players. Questionable decisions are
1) Suresh Raina in tests
2) Yuvraj Singh in tests even after repeated failures
3) Saha
4) parthiv patel as opener in some matches
5) Amit Mishra even after failures
6) Lot of bowlers who bowls only between 110 to 125 kmph

He didn;t give opportunites to following players when there was time to develop backup players fully. He didn;t give opportunities to players like

Rohit Sharma in tests
A Rahane
Pujara
Rayudu
M Pandey
Ohja - Instead only Ashwin got opportunities.

This created the big mess and I don;t think anyone can fix this issue.

It is better to remove Srikanth and also BCCI Secretary Srinivasan. They are trying to create a situation where they want full control over the team.

What is wrong in selecting Ashwin. He can easily be groomed as an all rounder. Even Harbhajan did not do well during Australian tour, as the pitches are not useful for spinners.

Shameless
by Pallab Banerjee on Jan 06, 2012 09:41 PM

We are shameless to watch our cricketers loosing match after match. The shameless cricketers know only one thing , and that is how to make more money through endorsement and playing IPL and pretending that they are all top class cricketers. The selectors and the board are shameless to select the above cricketers time and again and bring down the reputation of the country. Atleast from now I do not want to be part of this shameless team and also hope some others would also follow me and stop watching this sport forever.

exactly, sachin is the best performer in the tour. Ppl keep talking about he is eating youngsters place, but what youngsters? If not for him and dravid the team would not even make 200. At 39 he is still performing

Shame!
by Harsh Singh on Jan 06, 2012 08:19 PM

Though its just a game and winning/losing is also a part of it.. BUT it's a shame that even after having so many records under their names, Indian team looks like school time Cricketers when playing abroad, they dont look mentally strong, or eager to win. If it was a fighting loss, it would have been accepted, but its sheer surrender!
