Some mindless idiots are criticizing Sachin in this forum. Honestly, he is looking in good touch, but he is committing mistakes at the wrong time when he is set..to he honest, he has clearly missed two centuries atleast in this series...With some fine tuning in the technique of Dravid, may be, india can be a better side in perth..We cannot rely on Gambhir and Sehwag..For Dravid to put up a good show, he needs the openers to atleast play out the first 15-20 overs...you cannot throw him in straight away in the first over...my suggestion would be to elevate Lax to 1 down, move Dravid behind Kohli...so that we have some batting stability...or given the present form, sachin can come 1 down...allow dravid to play when the ball is old...atleast he will score runs that will improve his confidence..Dhoni as a batsman is good for nothing...mark my words, its going to be a complete failure for him in the remaining tests...suggested 11 with batting order wil be Sehwag gambhir VVS/Tend Tend/VVS Kohli Rahul Dhoni Ashwin Zaheer Ishant Yadav

Agree, Sachin bashing is a fashion and not based on facts. He is in very good form and he has scored more than anyone else in 2 matches.
Sehwag --> 0/10 (He is the only option to captian India should Dhoni be rested/sacked/injured..and hence should be more responsible in his shot selection and not play T20 brand of cricket in Tests)
Gambhir --> 2/10 (Scored some handy runs in the 2nd Inn, after being under tremendous pressure for lack of form. Holds his place for the next test)
Dravid --> 0/10 (is not in his elements in this series so far ..its time he pulls up his socks and shows his true form)
Tendulkar --> 3/10 (by far, the best indian batsmen in this series..hope he gets to his landmark, that would allow him to play freely)
Laxman --> 1/10 (bad in the 1st inn, was ok in the 2nd inn, but should look forward to play more of match winning/saving innings)
Kohli --> 0/10 (Lucky to have played this test match in the first place...failed yet again and his sacking is inevitable)
Dhoni --> 1/10 (Held one side of the wicket in the 1st Inn..other than that did nothing great..Should improve overall, else Saha is waiting to grab the chance)
Ashwin --> 2/10 (was reasonably good with the ball with good economy figures in the context of the match, and excellent with the bat in both innings)
Zaheer --> 4/10 (The only real performer in this test match, with 3 quick wickets, a fast 45 with the bat)
Ishant --> 1/10 (Bowled well in patches..but was unimpressive most times)
Umesh --> 0/10 ( listless with his bowling, leaked too many runs,nowhere near his best)

Tendulkar Should be given -3/10 and Zaheer -2/10 and Laxman -10/10 than it should be the best.

Virender Shehwag ======= style is like that ---- but he delivered key opener innings in 2003 and 2008 series --- also Comm bank Tri series - he delivered Hobart game vs sri lanks Finals Sachin delivered ---- Forgot ? suddenly shehwag is out of favour now

@Dude ===== Sachin ,Laxman and Dravid were also in the same team - 2003 series 2008 series Forgot ? also two heros are Suarav - brisbane 100 Anil Kunble with the Ball ------ we need hard fighters or hitters either like shiv Chander Pual (west indies) see how he digs in and stay put
6 test defeats in a row! Remarkable acievement! It will be really interesting to see what is our current test ranking now. It will be a better idea to start our batting order from bottom to top. Our tail is doing much better than our "famed" top order. I will be really surprised if we don't lose the test series 0-4.

not in a row... in between we tasted success against a lowly WI at home. it should be rephrased "6 test defeats in a row on foreign soil"... but the worst is yet to come. I see another innings defeat in Perth and a defeat by a huge margin in Adelaide. Thereafter it will be honeymoon time for indian cricket as there will be home series.

I do not think so ,BCCI should have its own min policy Our Ex and current Indian players should give input ===== wobder why anil kumble fell out with BCCI ? players vs politicians (I remeber Jimmy - mohibder amarnath etc also had some rifts with BCCI) ---- where as ACB or ECB works with players and avoids rifts ? something both BCCI and indian cric players should take notice off as well

I have been seeing all these comments which is all too foolish on the part of every body. The issue is very simple, after every away series, we should call the same team to tour India that too only between March to May/june. All these series should be termed the BADLA series. We will win hands down. Every feat from Sachin's 100's to Ashwin's triple Hundred to Gambhir's 10 wicket innings every thing is possible. Why worry and let your emotions unnecessarily

rama, dhoni can play in asia only. even whn he wsnt captain he hd a pathetic test n odi record oversees which is still continuing. he is a liability on team. he mst be removed immediately. a captain who cnt lead the team by his own performance. useless player, worse than bowlers.

@Sonu ----- i feel dhoni did not somehow bother to play his natural game
earlier aussie tours - bulk of the work was done by seniors - shehwag ,saurav ,sachin ,laxman in batting ----- but he keeps wickets - not sure why he is not batting like his early days --- Ian Healey used to bat well inspite of keeping wickets as well
