AUSTRALIA have bouncu tracks have well built bowlers who can deliver with 145 MPH speed ---- so our Team Coach ,BCCI management should have mimumn programm to prepare the Team for such a tour ====== Bowling machines in Indoor nets making Indian pitches 2 of them Bouncy
will make changes in right direction
results will be visible over time ========= But if we just sack players ,replace them ,drop them etc
we are not attacking root causes with correct policies
we might damage our Cricket itself like HOCKEY
===== so let us reform BCCI first and ask them to frame right policy and adopt it

aussie beat SL in SL, than 1-1 against SA in SA. only they lost one test against NZL but it was 1-1 in series. consider india. won 1-0 against WI, then lost 4-0 to englan, 2-0 against WI. which team you will consider better. just think if india had performed like aus beating SL in SL and drawing series in SA. we would have considered it historic achievement.

@Correct ========== Kohli needs to assert himself with score --- likewise any player ? I feel Laxman was set for score ,the ball was too acurate for bails ,maybe he tought ,it is going above bails height

What is your logic No youngster is performing out side the india at least Sachin & company contributing otherwise india will not be crossing 200 runs in inning
Indians are the ODI world champions. In ODIs, a score of 300 is a competitive score and mostly a winning total. Players have get tuned to this and that is why they are getting out below 300 in test innings. Now that they have scored 400 in a test innings, their performance in ODI may take a dip.

Sarfaroz suppandi should have been prefered ahead of P Sanyal. He can bat and bowl with right and left hands, can field in any positions, do wicket keeping and carry drinks to the field. Rest of the selection is OK.

Krihnakumar I think you are right. Let us take out Sanyal and put in Suppandi, though I feel sad - Sanyal is a good bowler and bats reasonably too. He even scores runs sometimes.

dont worry whether galli cricket or ground cricketers afterall they all play cricket. and our great veeru was also a galli cricket in the begining.

gem of a team :) fantastic team, can defeat any team in the world :) i think BCCI should throw srikant immediately and appoint u as the chief selector, and summon all the above players to get ready before the 3rd test starts and send them immediately so that india can level the test series 2-2

Thank you. This team is selected after a lot of analysis, thinking and talent searching. Batsmen like Joseph Thomas are of rare talent. He has broken three windows in my galli in the past 3 years, and mind you we play using only tennis ball. Imagine what will happen to the windows if we used real cricket ball. I think this team will surely solve all our problems.

i have full "faith" in you and your "team"...just go ahead and save team india. iam also sure if joseph thomas hits the "real" cricket ball hard no aussie player can dare to stop/catch it :)
our massive loss to australia, shattered saina nehwal (an avid cricket fan)so much that the poor thing was crushed in 2 straight games by an unknown chinese in today's quarter final bout in the victor korean open 2012,presently on @ seoul. saina is our gold medallist hope for london olympics 2012.

Saina was Good as long as she was concentrating on her Game , now she is more intreseted in Glamour. Nothing to do with cricket for loss or win

In Aust - they have nation wide Programm - Grass roots cricket (AUS cricket board plus Commonwealth Bank ) ===== question is why BCCI so powerful with cash has no Nation wide policy
only some Azhar or Irfan Pathan will start Cricket academy but will it be accessible by Indians especially Rural and tier 2 cities in India ===== CWG stadia is only in new delhi so school kids or college kids in new delhi access but not other parts of India CORRECT ? ====

why we do not buy Bowling machine and employ hot spot tech
In that way - we can simulate 145 MPH speed deleveries with swing and bounce in those indoor nets
indian batsmen before embark on overseas tour especially - aust,eng or south africa
use those infoor nets and emply hot spot tech to review their own video footage to see if ball made contact with bat on edge or surface ========== then Batsmen can practise in indoors till he gets Footwork ,and body movement plus bat movememnt correct
they can do outdoor nets === then when they tour australia ,they would have worked out their technoque ? ======= we have ISRO (with moon mission 2 ) experienced in robotics Tata consultancy service provide software to ferrari racing car so we can ask them to customise the BOWLING MACHINE before installing at the indoor nets as well
It is really pathetic that we are getting defeated again and again. What is Dhoni and Fletcher doing? Are they not able to direct or motivate the so called Indian World Class Batsmen Sachin,Dravid,Sehwang, Lakshman?
How is that a much lower ranked and weaker Team like New Zeland won in the Second Test and Levelled the Series? It is better that the Indian Team come back and let us send a Youth Team and get defeated in the reamaining Tests. What the selectors are doing? BCCI shame on you. Sriraam Kolkata.

I fully agree, Sachin has scored 535 runs in his last 10 innings, 5 above 70 scores.He is still the best we have.Youngsters are failing be it Raina/kohli/rohit

I am agree on some points.. But I think Raina or Kohli or excellent ODI/T20 Players and can't be good Test players as because of lack technique and quality to stay on the wicket..

When ponting, clarke and hussey can do, what's wrong with sehwag, dravid, tendulkar,dhoni and other so called glam boys.truly spineless. the prediction is all our batsmen will dance at the crease with 4-0 in avour of australia.
following postive things came out from this test. 1. india cross 300 runs (abroad) after a long long time. 2. our tail enders wag after a long time 3. gautam gambhir is back in form 4. sachin has not given up even after 21 attempts

Yes @ROHIT SHARMA is a good player so is Virat Kohli ========== Both are Young and can get the place
couple of seniors will retire in near future --- so let us mould both Kohli and Sharma do not dent their confidence
