Take a look at the recent records of away from home conditions, you will find most of the team on the same boat including Mark waugh,s dream team of australia.if he is so confident send this austrailian team to India, they will face the same onslaught which india is facing even worse, the perfect example is England recently.

Sharma:

The comment was on approach. Not result. As for beating Lanka in Lanka Aus did that too.

Waugh comment is RIGHT?
by Ashish Agarwal on Jan 05, 2012 02:13 PM  | Hide replies

Mark Waugh termed the Indian as a "defensive captain", who just sits back and wait for the opposition to make mistakes.

He is 100 % correct by the above quote. dhoni should learn how to captain his side in overseas. he should learn the skills from ravi shastri and sunil gavaskar.

Hahahaha. All those sitting in commentator's box (Ravi Shastri, Gavaskar, Ganguly) have never won a series in Aus. They are good at only commenting.

India can again become no. 1
by Mahesh V on Jan 05, 2012 02:12 PM  | Hide replies

Only is BCCI bans overseas tours, especially to Aus, SA and Eng. Indian team should be allowed to visit only Zim, Bangladesh, NZ, WI, Ireland, Kenya, etc

by ravi kontham on Jan 05, 2012 02:08 PM  | Hide replies

India would be white washed in this series as they were in England and then Dhoni, Tendulkar and others would probably would show their skills(in whitewashing) by appearing in Surf Excel or Ariel detergent advts so that they can show how to get WHITE-WASHED!!! Shame on them

Waugh is 100% Right
by prasad joshi on Jan 05, 2012 02:05 PM  | Hide replies

Indians won the world cup because it was held in India!!Nothing else!!!This Indian team(including Sachin Ten but barring Dravid) lacks potential- and that is the BASIC ISSUE !!!Trainig is a secondary issue !!!Many times I find Pakistanis to be immensely talented much more than Indians although they have indulged in Match Fixing!!!Our only performing asset Zaheer Khan also learnt from Wasim Akram -the Pakistani Legend!!! Our bowlers look like asthama patients and filelders look like wildlife observers!!!Batsmen are blind -living to the true meaning of Bat!!

Mark Waugh...ur spot on. india shud be ranked lower probably last amongst test playing nations. They dont' deserve to be up there. Sachin Tendulkar is God they say but only at home..away he becomes a mere mortal.
