There is no future to Indian Team
by Saravanan Subramanian on Feb 29, 2012 10:07 PM  | Hide replies

There is no future to the Indian Team until Sachin is in the squad. If selectors had really started looking towards the future, the first step to do is to drop Sachin.

If selectors are smart, hope, selectors have spoken to Sachin and convinced him to retire after Asia cup

Saravanan: there r lots of advt and sponsorship money behind sachin...
So many big corporate houses would stand to lose heavily if he announced his retirement.
So I honestly feel in all probability, Sachin would announce his retirement from all forms of the game after 2015 WC..

Yes indeed, this point is a valid one & it makes sense. Otherwise, had his recent performances been of any consequence, he simply didn't stand any chance to get retained series after series. Well, it's a real pity that a truly deserving youngster is deprived of his rightful break to play for the country.

Keep Gazing Mr. Sri... Can't... cause you will not learn from the present mistakes... yes, who says you have selected a team? ha ha ... joke..
We select players for their individual goals.. forget about "Team India" cause it does not exist at all...Agree??? There are millions of fools in india who would watch a match played by 11 fools.. so keep fooling them.. Keep Gazing in the Sky for future guys who are looking for a "winning Team" cause there will be none....We are Supporters of "Such-IN" or "Do- NI..revers of "in"... forget about India .. Keep gazing in the future Sri.. Can't Because You Can't see at all...you don't want to see.. cause you Get your money just as "Such -IN" gets his records Plus the advertisers their Money".. I am sorry it seems they are paid for their existence. What is role of our Agricultural Minister to stay on BCCI just because of excessive Money in said board.

FITNESS VS.UNFITNESS
by PARSHAN on Feb 29, 2012 09:17 PM  | Hide replies

If both the players are unfit then why they ar still there and playing. Why Sachin still there whereas Sehwaq dropped. If you are looking forward for Worl Cup then you should have removed 1- Sachin 2- Gambir and then Sehwag.

Don't understand why Gambir - he is not only playing very well and consistent in Australia tour, he has age too to play another world cup.

Use your brain, brilliance and great knowledge to recommend someone who is capable of replacing Sachin. Then your goal of seeing off Sachin will materialise.

Even Bangladesh is a good team now. Dont belittle them. They have beaten Aus, Eng, WI in WI, and have whitewashed NA 4-0. Besides, Bangladesh is the only test playing country against which Sachin has never scored a 100 in ODI! So if he gets it against Bangladesh it would be a double feat!

Correction: NA = NZ
I dont think no one will ever have a problem if Sachin plays the same way he did in the 321 chase Vs SL ! He will definitely get a 100 in this series and I hope he announces retirement there or latest after home series Vs Eng

Even if the 100th 100 comes against Bangladesh, remember, where the 99 others came from....Dont you think Sachin deserves a little more respect...

Australian selectors had courage to drop great Ponting when he didn't deliver. Do you expect such courage in our selectors? Never!

Well that was the over of Lasith Malinga. If we had lost a wicket due the last ball of that over, we might not have even tied the match. What's over is over. No point speculating what might have been and what could have been. India lost miserably to Australia and Sri Lanka and conceded bonus points when they shouldn't have! Srikkanth should stop being defensive and accept that India underperformed in ODIs and sucked in the Test series (big time!) It is time to make radical changes to the Test team for sure!
