Tendulkar

It's better he retires before the resentment boils down to virtual resentment. Let him go gracefully and make way for other budding players.

Should be retired
by Akash Pandey on Feb 23, 2012 09:13 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin should take retirement otherwise he will lose all respect. He shows so much greedyness by continuous play of cricket. Now it is enough he should go for retirement.

that is so unfair! it is almost as if you are to gain from his retirement. That's entirely his personal problem. You should only judge him on merit. He was one of the top five run getters in the last 2 IPL's (young mans game). His ODI record until this Aussie tour was good. He was one of the highest run getters in the world just behind Yuvraj Singh. These other youngsters have got several opportunities but have not come good yet. There is no youngster pitching for opener in any case. Why the rush?

Venga

This man would not have advocated for a player if he was not from his State. Does he mean to say Sachin's place should not be disturbed till he reaches 60 years! Ridiculous the ways of these so called senior players. They should take training from M Clarke of Australia who is dared to say that he he is instrumental in axing his friend Ponting from ODI squad for his poor performance. Clarke regards his Country above personalities but this Venga still talks like a petty politician!

Sachin shud quit

Atleast kapil had tht courage to say what is the right thing looking at the current situation of the indian team...Sachin has always played for himself..look at his record, how many matches he has won for india in last 23 years..very few as compare to other gr8's..he ws a run machine tht has now become a FUSSSSS cracker..he is almost 40yrs of age and reflexes has gone weak drastically..board should organise 2 friendly internationals with kenya or UAE and ask him to make his 100th century and just get lost...this 100th century has cost india 2 clean whitewashes in england 4-0 and aus 4-0....all this time only one thing was the centre of attraction tht how and when will sachin score 100th century...he is a thick skin and very money minded will never leave after such a humiliation in england and australia...see gr8's like gilly, hayden, langer,mcgrath,warne..they all got retired at their peak at the right time...world cup win dream is also over whatelse this man wants...nobody knows...even the survey in times of india shows tht 65% of the people wants him to go....so wakeup and smell the coffee before it gets out of ur hand u r thrown out of the team.

just to remind everyone when time of Kapil retirement was , the whole country was embarassed when he took so many test to get his one wicket to surpass hadlee record. it used to an old bowler trying to bowl medium military pace to tailenders to get one wicket. How everyone forgets his own days

In the 8 overseas tests, we lost by 8-0 only due to Sachins presence ,otherwise we could have lost by 8-(Negative8).Truly he is irreplacable .

Also in the all the matches in which India lost by just one run was due to Sachins poor fielding......
Indian bowlers could not take more than 4 wickets in one test was due to Sachin.
SAchin prevented others from scoring double hundreds and triple hundreds....
Sachin, you are to be blamed for all these.....
Without you we are ...............
