Sachin is an integral part of Indians. Anything & everything is linked to Sachin. Grow up guys....
Why make GG0Ds of a person when he succeeds and be so unfair when he is not doing well?

It is called sarcasm. I am lamenting the fact that our people relate each & everything to Sachin.

If the 2003 Indian side was hapless, his hundred was at best ordinary and nothing to remember. If it was a great one, then you have to give credit to the opposition.

2003 Indian side WAS NOT HAPELESS. It failed only in the finals. Ponting deserves every bit of credit for churning up a great innings. But critics wont be ready to accept that he had mediocre success outside Australia, specially against India. He has 18 centuries outside his home country and 23 in his home country. But when any of our player scores a century in home pitch, most of our so called experts will curb it saying "it was on a flat track/easy pitch, etc". If it was so easy, how come most of them did not score centuries in that match?

rajiv kumar Experts r right in thir part. in recent triangular series tell me how many time team have crossed 300 mark in contrast in india even 350 score is not safe. many ousiders performed their best in india like mackulam, heyden, williamson, franklin, pollard, jimmy adams etc.

The best bat for Australia after Sir Donald Bradman
by Gautam Majumdar on Feb 22, 2012 08:37 AM  | Hide replies

Ponting is probably the best bat for not only Australia but but of the world in post badman era keeping in mind all other stalwarts.
Just add his captainship records with his batting performance.Just consider the fact that he has payed 4 consecutive world cup finals from 1996 to 2007, winning 3 of them and 2 as captin.
Just imagine he amount of runs he scored as a skipper under so much pressure.
Indeed is reords are fabulous.

The only black spot is his struggle in India both as a batsman and captain. Compare him to a Kallis who I rate much above Tendulkar.
