At last one man who is at the helm of Indian team on grounds said Sachin is not upto the expectations of team India along with Sehwag and Gambir. It is now Sachin to rethink on his contnuing with playing eleven. Fine team India should co operate to get his final hundred to round it off to 100 centuries. His exit makes creation of another good player for team India. He should now on contribute his skills not by playing himself but by mentoring. So the surely cricket world will appreciate. Becuase if you have to contribute to the cricket really on field then yu need some age too. Think over Mr Tendulkar

I respect Dhoni, but take my word let him open the inning and you will understand what it means to be Tendulkar, Sehwag or Ganguly
Why are Tendu and Sehwag even in Australia --after failure thru Eng/Aus Tests and ODIs....Those who want to watch them play for nostalgic reasons can watch them in video replays.

It was ponting who made 5 consecutive single digits scores, DROPPED not the captain ponting with all great teammates, who won 2 world cups...dont compare apples and oranges..
all the indian batsmen are not performing well , why you are ignoring the most idiot dhoni who has so called confidence and only attitude , he is the worst batsmen with worst technique india could ever produce.remove dhoni

HaHa. That is a joke. Why does sachin not play down the order if it was so easy? Everyone knows that opening in the ODI's is comparatively easy when you have the full 50 overs to bat and there are fielding restrictions too. On the other hand, batting low down when you don't have so many overs to play for and you need to keep up the run rate and that too with tailenders.

Joke? Dhoni doesnt think so. He said just a day or two ago that it is easier to bat in the middle overs than the initial overs.
And Dhoni had 40 overs to play yesterday, how was he so defensive when he had so much time & talent?
Does my 2nd para sound foolish? If so, read and analyze what u say Ramakrishnan, it is more foolish! U need talent, skill and guts to open the innings. Similarly, u need nerves of steel and should be able to slog madly when u come so down the order.
This is not an abacus that u move up & down. Understand the fact and stop unnecessary criticism, for or against any cricketer!
He cannot even field ---gets injured when fielding---and gets injured when batting. He can only play against WI/BANG/ etc now in flat tracks in India...Sehwag --the less said the better----total failure outside india......Those who are nostalgic for his own innings should watch video replays.
When will indian selectors drop tendu and other non-performers / poor fielders when the team. Enough is enough.....People who are still nostalgic about past performances can watch them on video replays.
we are a nation who has never learned how to appreciate neither respect nor be grateful for anything and to anybody. sachin is a prime example of our lethargic attitude and i really feel ashamed when i read such hard comments for a man who put us on the map of world cricket...!! the little master does not deserve a bharat ratna but a lot more..!!
