Sachin will be forced to retire, disgracefully. He should've retired right after WC2011. Most of the top class sportsmen usually retire at their prime. I suppose he ain't no top class sportsman. Keep dreaming for 100th 100, Mr. Tendu. Ciao

i do not think indian selectors will ever tell him that so he will continue
its injustice to put tendulkar on same level of sehwag ...sehwag was a fluke from subcontinent .... and tendulkar did consistently score ..ofcourse people are expecting more from him .... which is all media hype.
nevertheless... he should also call it off soon. its been a very long career...there are other important tasks ..such as grooming youngsters...that is far more challenging and crucial for india than his actual contributions on pitch.
for the first time,Dhoni has confirmed that Sachin, Sehwag and Gambhir are slow and hence he will try only one or two players at a time on the ground. Kapil Dev too has given an indication that Sachin should be dropped from 20-20 and 50 over matches as he is NO MORE fit in these two formats. So, Sachin, make runs or get out.
