Ravindra jadeja - why?
by guru on Feb 15, 2012 02:22 PM

Ravindra jadeja is getting more chances than anyone in the team, but he is leaking more runs and not batting upto the mark... Even R Ashwin is batting better than him.. Then why did we need him Mr.dhoni? Apart from a match against England, I haven't seen jadeja getting runs..

Where is uthappa..
by guru on Feb 15, 2012 01:36 PM  | Hide replies

He came into the team 4 years ago but no where even in talk now... I think he is a good hitting opener, he could replace sehwag if he gets his temperament right..

who told you uthappa is a wicket keeper? just bcoz he keeps wicket for bangalore in IPL? Buddy he is just an occasional wicket keeper and don't blame dhoni, uthappa has not even been able to prove himself in IPLs leave alone one days and domestic matches...

If raina is given repeated chances inspite of his failures then why not uthappa.. In domestic season also he had some decent run..
I think he is not as bad like Murali vijay..

Dhoni Manipulator
by Tania Mitra on Feb 15, 2012 01:32 PM  | Hide replies

dhoni ran out Gambhir and Pathan. He takes the match till the end so that people "praise his captaincy" and forget the Indian drubbing in test and awful batting in same.On flat tracks he promotes himself in order but comes down the order when the ball is swinging. His retirement is also timed at a time when the "proven" veteran trio retire from tests and India will find it difficult to win tests abroad

uselesll doni.............

First he is turing simple & straight match into sheer nightmare by his nonsense slow & irritating kind of batting

then he is trying to make himeself as hero by doing some slogs in last over
Luck by chance .....we won last match

Oherwise ...match against Srilanka he almost made us loose.

its because of Dhoni we are winning, otherwise after Sachin used to get out, the rest of the team use to follow him in the pavillion quickly even before you could say cricket!

not so true, we have seen indian team which were meant to collapse when its 4 down, now a days, team even if they lose, are making it to end, and we have won matches even when it 3-4 down so early.

poor batting and captaincy by dhoni
by Aditya sharma on Feb 15, 2012 11:25 AM  | Hide replies

i understand that dhoni was trying to save his wicket and to reach closer to the target but that doesnt mean you stop scoring. dhoni hardly was able to make 2 runs per over during powerplay neither he was hitting any boundary. he just xtends the match to the end whatever the score. this time it wasnt a very big score and we were in a good position after gambhirs knock and till gambhir got out required rate was around 5.4. but after dhoni came to bat the req rate started rising and we reached a situation like this. dhoni is so afraid of losing his wicket that he doesnt even try to score a single of every ball. he allows the req run rate to go above control and thinks he can do it with sixers. but what if he loses his wicket after consuming so many balls and scoring nothing. then there will be no hope for following batsmen for win. so dhoni's approach to run chase is very bad. we won against aus, draw with sl but next time it can be a loss also. then dhoni will come under fire

Can you even match what Dhoni has achieved in gully cricket? You wont be able to even hold a bat in state cricket forget international cricket!
