Will somebody ask Dhoni why he played so slowly that requiring 102 from 20 overs, he took the asking rate to 8.5 runs per over. Its the slow scoring in such big ground thats perplexing.

It is really baffling that Dhoni is 'trying' his best to take the match to last over bringing enormous pressure on him and tailenders!. He has real capacity to score fast runs and when he tried to increase the pace of runs he never failed in the past. Only when he went in to cell he was either bowled, LBW or cought at slip. In both two matches played we could have won with 2-3 overs to spare. Even Gambhir felt this.
Turning point of the match is the rare lapse of concentration on the part of Tendli by scoring only 15 runs instead of 16 runs..It's just a miscalculation of 1 run by Tendli for the first time in his career of 22 years..Till India could tie the match...That's the greatness of Tingu!!!!!
Of course It was blunder mistake by umpires & other support staff but it can not effect outcome of match If you can not chase 237 in 50(49.5 instead) without getting bowled then there must be something wrong with your batting India required 58 from last 10 with six wickets, was it too much Dhoni is the main culprit for getting Gambhir run out and make it a difficult task
another turning point was tendya wrongly being given out on 15. If he had scored 16 , india would have won the match in 40th over itself. umpire needs to penalised for allowing the bowler to bowl an outswinger to a kid who is new to intl cricket.
In my opinion, it is not that one missing delivery that cost us the match. It was rather were the 4 runouts in our innings that did the damage. Dhoni's poor call, Gauti was out. Irfan got out in the only way a batsman could get out of a free hit, a run out. Even if Irfan had stayed for one more over, India would have comfortably won. Sadly, it was not to be. However, there were few positives like, irfan sending an effective spell, Vinay kumar being consistent despite not being too fast, Dhoni and Gambir coming to form, decent fielding by India etc. I wouldn't read too much into the failures of Kohli and Rohit. They are bound to fail occassionally. Of course, we would have liked better feet movement from SRT, the lack of which cost him his wicket. Hopefully, he will strike form in the next game and help us with a comfortable score.

yes... expecting same from SRT.. hopefully atleast in next game he should get his run... But again this rotation policy will ruin the form of players... this is going to be his last tour to australia.. atleast he should be given chances to get him going... If he get his form then it ll be always our game..

DS, so what should we call him?? I mean they atill remain Indian..right?
it was the power of Budha and the triple gem brought some relief for the Sri-lanka, who were heading for a defeat having been scored about 30 runs shorter. Because we always send our players after they had been blessed by special prayers from the Budhist monks.

The logic goes like this...Buddha was an Indian and in this case, the Buddha is Dhoni who blessed Srilanka to escape from defeat.
