has come up with a new term "best finisher"there can be best batsmen bowlers all rounders.what is this anyway.even then they are not sure about this best finisher and kept a question mark at the end then why have they written this article in the first place.very funny
This is the problem in Indian media.. Dhoni lost 8 Test matches in a row and every gun was ponited towards him.. Now,he won an ODI against the Oz(thanks to a lucky shot) and Indian media is going ga-ga over him as if he's climbed Mount Everest without oxygen or something..C'mon people, its just an ODI.. bigger battle lies ahead of team India.. they must keep the eye on the ball..:-)

The gun is still pointed at him since Dhoni does have the technique in the context of test matches. Dinesh Karthik must replace Dhoni in tests, while Dhoni must continue in ODIs and T20 since his batting style suits more to the latter.
Also, correction, it's not Dhoni, it's India that lost 8 test matches in a row.

In his illustrious career full of records, tendulkar never played a finishing innings in a tough match. Even the batsmen rated lower than him like Yuvraj, Kaif, VVSL, Dravid and Dhoni have this honour.

all the players you mentioned never played from ball one. ask them to play from ball one and then stay till end. atleast sachin did that many a times even in the last aus tour in the two finals.

Yes, it 's media - both print and electronic- who pay people to air their comments to boost their TRP. When people like Shastris, Gavaskars are on paylist of BCCI, you can't expect objective analysis.
