I think,a time hascome when we should compulsarily retire cricketers. With week legs, blurred eyesight, slow reflexes they only block youngsters way. Great cricketers have borm & retired; but game goes on. There is a hulla bullah about restingg Sachin for a match> Why not to give a chanse to youngster like Rohit Sharma?

Rohit Sharma should have been picked for atleast 1 test. He would have got a feel of the opposition's bowling before playing the ODIs.

I agree with you.Why should we depend the seniors players always, youngsters shoiuld be given chance and when they play matches again and again they will be doing their job better than Sachin or Dravid or Lakshman. Enough is enough for these senior players.Let them allow others also to earn money.

I feel the young brigade will do well if they have adequate exposure to pace and swing.

Why wait for Sachin's 100th Century? Australanians & west indians dont look at individual glory. At lease 3-4 times, Australians have come closer to breaking record for highest individual score; but have declared to give their side enough time to bowl out oppositFor them team comes first. As such, no one will be close to Tendulkar's records; then why?

One century will not make any difference. Atleast, he needs that moment of glory to end his magnificent career on a high note. Secondly, he is playing far better than anyone in the team at the moment!!
players from outside this Country started commenting about our senior players an their retirement? Why don't they look at their own team which is being bolstered by introduction of young and smart players?. If you can not think of dropping players at the age of 40 years, Hadlee should have continued for another ten years in the team instead of quitting. He was 100% fit when he retired. May be others do not want our Indian team to be strong for some or time so that their own team take advantage of playing against old and worn out players to rout the team consistently..
Mr. Hadlee is so true when he says about the burn-outs caused to fast bowling all rounders. But I feel it is applicable to every all rounder. A high standard of batting/bowling/fielding is expected of all rounders like Yuvraj Singh, etc. It is very tough to consistently perform on the field.
