The writer is Nuts
by Anshul Mohindra on Apr 17, 2012 12:33 PM

The Cricketrs are already earning there share even though they are not performing. Let down by millions of fans. I would rather decrease the ticket prices and spend money to make people's entry to be more comfortable so that it may attract more people to the stadiums rather thatn giving the cricketrs hefty fees. I would ask teh writer when did he last visit a cricket match and how much time did he actually needed to wait or how much did he need to walk to get into the stadium. Be more reaonable than blindly increasing the salaries.

When there is a IPL tournament or intresting Cricket Series going on that:

TV Media i.e New channel/ Sas Bahu Serial etc

-- These Boaring Pragrames losses viewership by more that 60%
-- THere TRP goes down drastically
-- Advertisement Rates reduces drasticaly from Rs 5000 per Sec to Rs 1000 per sec
-- Some of the serial or Pragrammes get near Zero viwership exposing them the Risk of closure
-- Film industry tries not to Release any Big Budget Movies..

Coz of the viewship and Sponsorship interest Cricket Generates...

To Couter this.. Mediahouse, News Channels/ TV channels who do not have right to telecast cricket....

Spends there energy , money time and efforts in speading all type of false rumours about Cricketers, BCCI.

Give viewsbreak by engaging in this dirty tactics... Improve Progammes, content and real news so that we can flip through these programmes when we get Bored Some time from watching Cricket...

Cricket is popular as
----its only sports which is widely telecasted in the Country and

---- The Television programes/News are abosutely Bogus.... what will views do

Terribly clichd

There seems to be general consensus that the embarrassing riches doled out by eager-beaver franchise owners soaked in material hubris and gargantuan egos have destroyed player motivation by making everyone cash-obsessed, the allure of the club far exceeding the honour of the country's cap. (Only an Indian can write such gibberish)

Your article contains over 275 words of over 7 alphabets and some of the words have to be referred. Are you paid by the number of alphabets you use in your article? Do your statements get considered? The article could have been short & sweet for the same end result. Don't you think so? - KK

Cricket is Business for BCCI

Great article. But will the BCCI officials have ever a long term vision & policy to develop young budding & talented cricketers. Look at what happened to Anil Kumble, who had sent a comprehensive plan to the BCCI to develop players at NCA. The BCCI never responded to such a great player's vision as it would have resulted in money to be spent & out of their pockets and Anil Kumble quit in frustration. The day India lost a Sydney, the BCCI announced the IPL schedule. Players like Dhoni have already indicated that they will burn out fast because of excessive cricket. Why would BCCI pay more to the players to play for the country, they know the players are already their slaves and lures them through huge payments in IPL circus, which are sponsored by the franchises. Ranji trophy matches, players are the neglected children of the BCCI and are played on horrible pitches and empty stands. I have been following cricket since the last 35 years and never have I felt such disillusionment for test cricket and BCCI's apathy towards the players. Finally Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh winning the MCA elections against Dilip Vengsarkar clearly indicates that BCCI i.e Business Control of Cricket in India,
