Why're you keep bringing up Worldcups? If he won 2 World cups then he lost Test series at home as well as two white washes in last 14 months along with numerous limited overs loses.

Now you will blame team for loses.. right?

What a hypocrates.

By the way, everyone is questioning Dhoni's captaincy in Test crisket and Worldcups are for limited overs. I hope you understand the differences...

Dhoni is in the team only because he is the captain of the team. Otherwise, no selector that has some grey matter left in his head would select him as a player.

Gavaskar should take break from doing slavery of BCCI. He is being two faced. He loves Test cricket & want India to do well, same time he is supporting IPL as he is scared of BCCI and wants to make millions in commentary..

Batting order
by Ramdas Nayak on Dec 27, 2012 10:27 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni should be more aggressive in sending batsmen in. Send batsmen like Jadeja and Raina higher up in order when there is no pressure. They should be told to score at a strike rate of 150. Any runs from them scored in a faster rate would be bonus for us. Let Kohli and Rohit come a No.5 and 7 to stop collapse if top order fails. In 20-20 such gamble pays.

most importantly, selection should be purely on the basis of merit and not on zonal basis.

but everytime the topic of hiring a national coach comes, BCCI seems to be too obsessed with fair skin and vilayatis.

Still Kohli is too short to reach the height of captaincy, but no other choice also.

Virat is not an option....
by Sadhashiv on Dec 27, 2012 10:26 PM  | Hide replies

The kind of temperament that Virat has, he is just not fit to be the captain of India at any time...
This guy already has lots of headweight and a boorish behaviour.
Captaincy will only make matters worse and it will tough for him to command the respect of his peers...

Dude, it was his captaincy that got the junior world cup for India.
