just for info - SRT made 76 and dhoni 7 in match..issue is indian cricket is loosing by this politics..We dont have bowler after kumble and dhoni unnecessary promoting Aswin who is best for ONLY t-20 ..and NOT TEST cricket.

Look at the big picture. Ashwin is a good talent. Boy, he can bat better than most batsmen in the team. Without him, India would have suffered a defeat by innings.

Don't talkRubbish aboutAshwin- he's a young guy and the only one with someGuts in this team. The real problemChildren areDhoni and hisClub, such asRaina, RavindraJadeja, and of course the NeverRetiring SRT, who is a club all to himself

Totally agreed. Ashwin is the talent to be nurtured. Valuable player, no doubt about it.
If Harbajan can be dropped by playing just one test match upon his return, then why not Dhoni even after failing match after match.. Drop that politician and see the change...
the board should decide to show some spine and drop Sachin, dhoni and sehwag after the conclusion of the nagpur test, irrespective of the result or the players individual scores....
Sehwag has proved time and again that he is highly irresponsible when it comes to batting and throws his wicket away, when caution is the need of the hour....
Sachin is well past his prime and there is absolutely meaningless to continue with him, if India is serious enough to building a team for the future....The presence of a 40 yr old man in the dressing room doesn't augur well for the future of Indian cricket....
Lastly Dhoni has never been of test quality. It would be quite prudent to drop him and allow him to captain the team in T20's and ODI's.. A different WK and a captain needs to be chosen for test cricket....

rightly said, but it won't happen. for indians individuals are more than team/country.

yeah its true. the only way fans can teach the board a lesson is to boycott the game altogether if the above mentioned 3 players get selected after this series.
When fans show lack of interest, revenues would come down and the board will learn a lesson and drop these players which would ultimately help India in the long run....
Ganguly was favoured by Dalmia..Sharadh Pawar was worst ever..Why not Srinivasan..Let him enjoy...Raise some pention money or give a 2yr run as chairman for Amarnath..He will be good.

Point is that Ganguly's record was far better than that of Dhoni, and he also made his come back after being dropped.

dhoni record is better than ganguly...and if dhoni is dropped why do you think he will not be able to make a comeback?

So, for India's sake and Dhoni's personal sake, lets drop Doni....atlast you speak some sense
