Re: Where is Ravi Shastri ????

Like he took money from BCCI to praise Dhoni & Co even though we were losing 0-4 to Eng in Eng.
Why couldnt Amarnath resign then and there, instead of waiting all this while to dig up dirt??? This is a guy who had scores of 0,0,1,0,0,0 when the Windies toured India in 1983 and he talks about MSD's place? surprising

But the same guy got the man of match during the Prudential cup in 1983 and also the highest run getter when India toured Pakistan in 1982 and West indies in 1983

The Windies after losing World Cup defeat toured India and destroyed Amarnath, Srikanth, Yashpal, Sandeep,Madanlal, Binny...Every one retired shortly. Only Gavaskar peformed. Gordon Greenidge & Desmond Haynes destroyed the morale of India and till Azhar came India was in a very bad shape

This is the also the same guys he won man of the match 1983 world cup. There is nothing to surprise. He himself said when you respect someone you don't question them. Why he speaks now? That is because many people in this country started questioning captain's ability to guide the test team and he has to tell this nation it would have been different had Srinivasan respected decision of panel instead of showing his personal narrow interest than national interest.

I agree. Amarnath is a far superior player than MSD. MSD is just a flat track slam bang player.

and for your information somebody like Andy Roberts rated Amarnath better than Gavaskar unlike Dhoni who is just a sitting duck against good bowling
Get rid of non-cricketers such as Businesspersons, Bureaucrats, Politicians from controlling BCCI. This will clear way of taking independent and healthy decision to improve cricket. What does Srinivasan, Jagmogan Dalmia or Pawar know about cricket other than steal moniey from BCCI.

Well said. At least head of BCCI and selection panel should be having experience of playing Test matches.
The thing is that the team playing is not Team India, it is Team BCCI.
Since there is no democratic way to control the so called team India, It would be better to boycott the game for the time being and focus the attention towards badminton, where our very own Saina Nehwal is battling it out with rest of the top 8 players of the world in World Superseries Finals....
SomethingWrong with usIndians. PoorGuy RaviAshwin plays his heart out, would have made 150 if he had had even one player of repute with him (considering how many opportunities for singles he missed), and bowled beautifully in the first match. But he is tarred with the sameBrush as PoliticianDhoni- just because he belongs to the same IPLTeam. Guys- grow up. TheProblem isDhoni andSRT. Get rid of them and this team will win everything in sight

I remember Ashwin very nearly got run out in 1st inns when his score was 0 forced by dhoni for a non existent quick single which was never required when team was in trouble with 7 wickets down..Dhoni was trying to shield ashwin from strike when in fact it shud be him who should be shielded.
