The author has spoken about the failure of Viru,Gambhir,Yuvi etc but says that batting mastero was in a good nick for 76 and has practically glorified.
Why this attitude?Be bold and say that the batting matero is also a bigger culprit as based on his formidable records,scores and in the absence of Draid,VVS and wiht his 24 years experience,he has to lead in the middle order and help to build team

true. even before any indication. ever since the australia team. people like harsha bhogle were announcing dravid's retirement.Here not a word being spoken.
All the 11 players are culprits. Ofcourse wining and loosing is part of game. But the total body language of all players showed casual attitude. The simple reason for it that they are in their IPL and commersial adds world. Not only no match money to be paid also penlize 15lkh each players and let them have accoutability Moorthy Pune
These two amazing players were criticized very often and ignored by Dhoni (it's a fact accepted or not). Our batting just didn't have mental strength to hold on this tough situation. England came with a purpose and passion to gain it. Before the series began everyone talked about 4-0, 3-0, 3-1, 2-1 series wins, now it is coming true but the other way. I am a Indian cricket fan and feel bad that Indian players are not showing interest in test matches, the bang bang 20-20 has influenced many players to abandon test match playing attitude. If BCCI is not interested in promoting test matches then let's just withdraw as a test playing nation and avoid further humiliation. That way we might have more window to play more 20-20s or have another IPL. As long as players like Dravid, Laxman, Ganguly, Kumble were in the middle we knew they would go down fighting and spirit was never lost. I for sure miss them and looking at current crop and attitudes I don't think we can find their TRUE replacements anytime soon.

well said and I totally agree with you. When Amit Varma (not sure abt the last name) took a couple of wickets everybody bayed for Anil Kumbles retirement and now you can see the quality of our spinners, they are not able to pick wickets of English players who are poor players of spin. Dhoni wanted dravid and Laxman out of the team and now his place is a quention mark?
all our cricketers do not want to play five days of cricket when they get well paid for six or 10 hours of cricket why slog it for five days.

well said boss its Dravid, Laxman, Ganguly, Kumble were in the middle we knew they would go down fighting and spirit was never lost. 2001 AUS example Dravid & Laxman partnership bhajis bowling. ganguly never fighting spirit n same with kumble
Many, specially fans of Sachin,always bayed for the blood of Dravid and write all nonsense aboutt him, without considering that if had played in as many matches s Sachin and that too wihout being bothered about the place in the team even on performance baisis, then he would have more records than Sachin.
Being a Gentleman that he is,after he flopped in about 5 innings (not 30 innings) though was the highest rungetter in 2011,gracefully,though forced,retired. Now, what do Sachin's and have to say?? When Yuvi can be dropped on the basis of perfromance in 3 matches,why not Sachimn?? This partisan act is absolute disgusting!! Remeber when Dravid was playing he used to take the presurre and Sachin scored,when Kumble kept the pressure,Bhajji got the wickets!!! India is missing these selfless performers!!
Wrong move taken by selectors by removing zahir KhAN. See the history in NAGPUR, seamers has taken wickets in all matches. It seems this nagpur match we will be looooooooooose,only because of this move. Zahir Khan have to ablity for swinging the new bowl.
But with england seam bowlers like james anderson,Finn i think indians cannot think of a win here rather i think a biggggggggg loos again seems in the card.
But surely it's a good batting wicket also.
Good luck for dhoni for his farewell match as a captain, and aslo from test team because i never beleive that dhoni is not even 10% good enough for a test match.

Dhoni is in the team because he is captain, other wise he don't deserve a place in the eleven on his personnel performance. we won world cup not because of his performance it was a team complete team effort. so the time has come to say good bye to him at least from the test team and odi team.

Zak is there not because of his present form, but for his past performances. It,s a thanks giving time for him by BCCI. At the state he is bowling, he cant get even Geoffry's Mom out....It,s time for him to go, gracefully....
1.Does the team know how to play a test cricket. 2. Forget about that uncle sachin....what happened to other young guys... in the what is their performance 3.This team has so much of captian(harbjan/tendulkar - mumbai.... yuvi --pune gambhir--- kolkata viru --- delhi and dhoni--- chennai.... out of 11 players...6 of them are captain of an IPL how will they... respond to a captian... and dhoni is also not showing is captiancy techiques while these captians are playing with him... because they may copy them in IPL and will defeat him 4.None of Indian players want to get their IPL carrier spoiled... for that they are ready to sacrifice ... their test carrier 5.Lets remove all the players and form a new team or give dhoni the team he wants and ask for result... 6.Finally we will all be shouting or messaging like this only but nothing is going to change

The Captain- because of bankruptcy of ideas and lack of innovation... No proper field settings- when England were to score 40 runs to win, why did we have fielders at deep positions, why did we not have 2 slips, 2 gullies, a silly point, a forward shortleg and a cbackward shortleg... The ball flew off the edges so many times through these positions during the chase. Did the captain expect that he would be able to tstop runs? Why Bhajji was not given enough time and desired field support? -Yuvi- He was the only all rounder in the team so he was sort of indispensable, now we have Ashwin...So rest him...use him in T-20s only No rotation of bowlers... Dhoni kept persisting with Ashwin and Zaheer when they were not able to buy wickets... Should have Used Sehwag, Yuvi, even Virat.. Sehwag - because of his indiscipline with himself... what was the need to try to hit the Swann first ball after lunch. does he not know test match cricket is more about defending and planning. Yuvi- not needed as an all rounder now as Ashwin is there. Selectors-Why a leg spinner was not played is beyond comprehension. Kohli- what has happenned to his form, let him go back to domestic cricket, regain it and come back. Zaheer- he is spent force now...

not just captain but even commentators, ex cricketers like gavaskar always oppose such characters.
Around 25 years ago one Mr.Gavaskar dropped kapil dev who was on the verge of creating a world record for continuous appearances for a rash shot. Gambhir should be dropped for the unpardonable shot he played against Finn.He had runout Pujara and he should have stayed for few more hours .At the end even a score of 150 would have won us the match
