Dhoni is not a good captain in tests. He had record in all format wins. but see when Cook regularly and Peitersen at Mumbai about to reach 100, it is normal that any captain would ask a change of bowling, or a stop gap from their regular bowlers. He continued with ashwin a great failure with the ball in Eng, Aus series abroad and now in home pitches too. Bhajji is out of colour and was bowled less in Mumbai. The selector should have added a leg spinner in Kol. Dhoni had no idea of captaincy, except dominating. otherwise the eng, aus, may be eng at home white washes, defeats would have been prevented. this is time for Dhoni to retire, along with sachin.
With a lot of old horses moving out or in the process of moving, it will take 1 or 2 years for this team to stabilize and until then we will have these type of erratic results. In this period if we need to short the success, the administrators of the game including the guys who prepare the pitches have to lend a proper ear to the captain and team management. If they are also up in arms, this will only delay the process of bringing the team together. Equally important is to ruthlessly change the team every 2-3 matches until we get an order that will click.
We won't mind DHONI if you quit test cricket for betterment of test cricket in India. We will not call you traiter or timid. But keep on playing this game, you will do more harm than benefit to an otherwise hopeless current situation with BCCI making mocekry of test cricket.
We aprpeciate your mediocrity in TEST cricket, which otherwise brought laurels to the nation in short format and you can continue complete your responsbility there.
We won't mind. Plz run away from your responsibilities. We can not ahve a leader who come to the ground 2 days abck and ask for the DOCTORED pitches and keep on counting positives depsite loosing 10 of last 11 test matches.
Of course its not your decision also. Your freanchise owners has to take this decision.
Good one, MSD. Well said. Why Captain should quit. In fact, you should get the team you want. Selectors' job is to provide 25 best players to you and you should be given freedom to choose your 15.

to add..... and you are going to flop every time. You need a solid kick at your back otherwise you are not going to quit leaving behind Crore & Crores of Rupees.
We all know it was more of luck and godfather Sriniwasan Chikka, than skills that made Dhoni sustain for long, high time he should be fired. We need bindass captain like Viru with no baggage and Gauti as his deputy, Gauti had proved leadership skills against Newzealand and in IPl too. Viru is a shrewd cricketing brain and deserves to be made captain.
Dhoni lead the team to many victories and here comes a bad patch and everybody is gunning for him.Indians should learn back thir team when the chips are down.

true actually india lost due to 2 runouts and 1 catch drop. plus brain freeze on 4th post lunch. eng were very lucky.

many vicotirs..how??where??because of his skill??8-0 continues test losses, losing in India very new to cricket fans, always finding excuses..what acaptian!!
