Dhoni is an insult to game of cricket.

He has created divides within team , never respected the talent or experience of his players(laxman, sewag, etc etc), pitch curators or any one for that matter. He will never earn team respect or get the best of his team. In short he is no "captain cool".

he is a disaster for indian cricket hope he is forced to quit soon

Why do we even play at Eden?
by Bhasmasur on Dec 03, 2012 07:30 AM

There are plenty of other grounds in India. Why even mess with these "always unhappy" people?

BCCI
by stupendo on Dec 02, 2012 06:03 PM  | Hide replies

Think about the millions BCCI earns and they never think about the paying public who come to support the team , the basic they can do is to provide good shade in the form of roof in all the stadiums .

True. How can they attract people if matches are held in the summer for 5 days? A person of Vidya Balan's color will turn into Kajol's color at the end of 5 days :)

If the report is true that he prepared a bouncy pitch to protest against Ganguli's omission the guy is vindictive, partial, politically motivated.anti Indian and should be immediately sacked.

Funny, so do you say that players talent, ability, performance is not the criteria but only a bouncy or turning pitch?

Why just the pitch ?
by Ankit Agarwal on Dec 02, 2012 04:52 PM  | Hide replies

My question is why is Mr. Dhoni just asking for the pitch...next he should ask sorry we will not go to overseas tour as they have bouncy tracks there.

Or please only call Bangladesh here for cricket as we cannot play any one else.....

I read somewhere on this forum itslef that every country prepares all kind of pitches..... but all we want in india is turners....

Even someone like shane warne who has 700 wickets has taken 40% of them in aus....AND SEOND HIGHEST IN ENGLAND AND THEN IN SOUTH AFRICA.... the kinda mindset that the indian non performing captain is showing at the moment it would be be more fruitful if he concentrates on his performance or quit test cricket atleast

Dhoni is not asking anything out of the world. This curator prepared a bouncy track to protest against Ganguli's omission and the same Ganguli didn't play in Nagpur as a green top was prepared when he as captain asked for a turner. Are these not double standards?

Indian Team
by SUBROTO RAY on Dec 02, 2012 04:49 PM  | Hide replies

India should concentrate on team composition rather than worrying about the pitch. Ravindra Jadeja who has had a stellar ranji match against Railways should be called in to replace Bhaji. Playing Dinda in place of Yuvraj is also a gamble worth taking.

Piyush Chawla also scored a century. Why dont you replace Yuvraj with him?

Sachin should be replaced by Badrinath/M Vijay,
Gambhir should be replaced by Mukund/Raghane,
Harbhajan should be replaced by Balaji/Irfan Pathan.

by ASHISH KUMAR on Dec 02, 2012 03:52 PM

Dhoni team can't beat England on seaming pitch/bouncy pitch & now even fair spinning pitch.
So now politician dhoni wants rank turner(Hindi it is called Gadha).
On Gadha pitch India has better chance to beat them.

For Aus,

For Eng,

For SA..

Only here, in sub continents,

there are 50 Grounds..

Ganguly behind the curator?
by Onlooker on Dec 02, 2012 11:56 AM  | Hide replies

It is becoming apparent that this curator guy is wanting India to lose just because Dhoni is captaining. Dhoni is not asking something that a home team captain would not ask. This curator should be thrown out. Castesim, nepotism has ruined cricket for so long that it is time that we give importance to talents like Dhoni and other young budding players.

You do not know anything about Mr Mukherjee. He is the most educated curetor in India. Ganguly has a great respect to him. Dhoni not a test captain at all. He should be by Saha in test.

Talent like Dhoni??? What talent this dirty Jharkhandi has apart from playing politics in Indian cricket???

It is quite evident that Dhoni always favoured CSK players like Raina, Ass_win, Vijay, Badrinath & Jadeja. He started filling Indian team with his IPL team players and India started losing matches post WC. Expecting turning wicket is not a fault but you cannot pressurize curator for wicket you want. Spectators pay for their tickets and viewers on TV also expect good 5 days of sporting test cricket. Preparing ugly wicket and wrapping test match in 2-3 days in not a good quality test cricket.

In short, Dhoni is desperate for Revenge for 4-0 drubbing he received from England last year.
