Ganguly behind the curator?
by Onlooker on Dec 02, 2012 11:56 AM  | Hide replies

It is becoming apparent that this curator guy is wanting India to lose just because Dhoni is captaining. Dhoni is not asking something that a home team captain would not ask. This curator should be thrown out. Castesim, nepotism has ruined cricket for so long that it is time that we give importance to talents like Dhoni and other young budding players.

You do not know anything about Mr Mukherjee. He is the most educated curetor in India. Ganguly has a great respect to him. Dhoni not a test captain at all. He should be by Saha in test.

Talent like Dhoni??? What talent this dirty Jharkhandi has apart from playing politics in Indian cricket???

It is quite evident that Dhoni always favoured CSK players like Raina, Ass_win, Vijay, Badrinath & Jadeja. He started filling Indian team with his IPL team players and India started losing matches post WC. Expecting turning wicket is not a fault but you cannot pressurize curator for wicket you want. Spectators pay for their tickets and viewers on TV also expect good 5 days of sporting test cricket. Preparing ugly wicket and wrapping test match in 2-3 days in not a good quality test cricket.

In short, Dhoni is desperate for Revenge for 4-0 drubbing he received from England last year.

Really great to see this!

I think every one will remember the time when most of the Indo-Pak matches were won by Pakistan and people used to comment that Pakistan plays with 13 onfield players, counting both the umpires as pakistani players. There was no dignity and pride for Pakistan in winning like that.
Here also Dhoni is trying to win without dignity and pride by asking for such pitches and it is great to see someone stand up and say it in his face.
India has earlier won so many matches at home easily without any such demands and with good crowd support. With Dhoni's tactics, I have a serious doubt that the crowd will continue showing support!

I appreciate the courage of Prabirda for taking against this dirty Jharkhandi captain. Prabirda is right to prepare sporting wicket for the test match. Dirty Jharkhandi brought pressure from BCCI against this aged curator but thanks to media for enlightening the entire matter.

Well Done Prabirda!! We are with you.

Don't spread hatred between states. You need to see above narrow thinking. Dhoni is captain of Indian Cricket team and he is enjoying because of Bombay brigade.

Also, Dhoni (actually Dhauni) is not Jharkhandi. His parents migrated from Uttarakhand.

England has better spinner than India
by Logical Error on Dec 02, 2012 08:36 AM  | Hide replies

As shown in second test, Swan and Panesar are better than Ojha and Ashwin. They have much better fast bowling options as well. Our best chances are to prepare flat tracks and let Sachin score a hundred so that he can retire on a positive note.

on the other hand, Bhajji could have definitely made a difference if he was used in longer spells.

Bhajji would have made difference had Dirty Jharkhandi given him ample bowling spells. Dirty Jharkhandi has always bias attitude against non-CSK players

Why can't we be professional?
by Indian on Dec 02, 2012 07:26 AM  | Hide replies

We are in 21st cenrtury and India is on its way to be a major economical power, but we still remain bunch of emotional fools.

Why can't we be professional? Why can't this curator just do his job as asked by the national team and management? Why does he have to bring up him working for freee and all?

OK Fine he loves cricket and his job at Eden, but he is obviously not doing his job the way he should..

if you want him to be professional then just leave him and let him do the job legitimately and ethically as per the standards and don't interfere in his work to favor the captain and BCCI and CAB....

His point is correct ...

What is the way that job should be done, according to you? So, you want India to win hook or crook or fair and sqaure? Who takes the blame if the pitch becomes under-prepared while trying to tailor-make it? Will you or the curator. So, the curator's responsibility and he has all rights to do it his way. If Dhoni brigade is so good in home turf, why are they so scared???

fair and squre on the pitches that suit home team's strength. period

If your curator knows his job then th pitches will not be under prepared. Curator's job is to prepare the pitches that his management and the national team wants. Indian is right.

It's like working for someone, you do what's good for your company/boss/owner. Do it the way you want, stay home baby..

You will learn when you grow up..

what is your defenition of a good pitch, dear puppy? Is it the fast bouncy pitches of australia , West indies and South Africa or the Green and moist seam friendly pitches of England and new zealand or is it the spin friendly pitches of the sub continent ? Are you still a servant of the white skin toying their line ? they play on pitches friendly to their style of play by sheer pace and power due to their build and nature of the body and we play to our strengths in our conditions keeping our identity .so don't start coming up with silly remarks . if you want to watch a good game , watch it or else pee and go to sleep.

Dhoni - leave Indian crucket
by subramaniam srivatsa on Dec 01, 2012 11:40 PM

Dhoni

You threaten the curators , or go gifting them to make pitches for you. Is is not a show of utter in incapability to lead, and is also a form of match fixing?

You do your politics. Create divide in the team.ruin the confidence of all our star players. is this how you maintain team spirit?

Al our star players - sachin, sehwag. All are miserably low on confidence thanks to the games of their wonderful captain. And he is now hidding in the raging controversy about sachin.

It's high time India had a better captain.
