Ganguly was only good in blabbering and was a gut-less Cricketer of his time which is why he once backed off from an Australian match in Nagpur in 2004 seeing a grassy pitch. Dravid was made the Scape Goat of that match which India lost.

Mr Ganguly!!!!

Mr Ganguly.. Why dont you mind your own freakin business and dont comment on Harbhajan - The Looser. Ganguly was a mediocre Test batsman with 42 average and inability to play short ball in his lifetime... Yeah, agreed... he was a good Captain of his time but then majority of the matches Indian WON under his tenure as Captain was thanks to Sachin, Dravid & Kumble.. Ganguly can enjoy his post-retirement life & doesnt have to pass foolish Comments like this. Ashwin is the Future of Indian Cricket as far as SPIN bowling is concerned & thankfully he has the fullest of backing from Captain Dhoni. Harbhajan is History.

Past performance is not a guarantee in sports
by Rajan Ganesh on Aug 28, 2012 05:21 PM

How long one can be basking in past glories when youngsters are knocking at the doors after deserving performances. If the youngsters would fail in a few matches, it does not matter as they will gain experience. More importantly, the senior have not brought victory all the time to seek for a re look in selection.

Yes, but only if he can show some form !
by Venkatesan Seshadri on Aug 28, 2012 05:17 PM

Dada is too generous ! I remember days when a batsman or a bowler got only one or two Tests to prove himself. Bhajji has talent but he needs to get his form back. His IPL performance was bad. He is not making waves in the county scene too. Reputation cannot be the basis for selection. Only current form should count..
