Does not make sense

If he can be in India team for 4 years expecting him to perform well, there is nothing wrong if he is out of team for 1 year

Harbhajan is past his USE BY date! Yes, Bhajji has been a great bowler, a wonderful competitor and a great sportsperson. Thank You Bhajji, but it is time to say Goodbye!

Both are useless
by avishek on Aug 28, 2012 10:33 PM

Both Bhajji and Ashwin are mediocre. They get heap of wickets on tailor made spin friendly tracks against mediocre teams and draw blank when they travel outside subcontinent. Ashwin will have to prove himself in Australia, England and South africa, otherwise there is no need to pick any spinner in team esp for ODI's spin/medium fast all rounders should be enough.

Who asked for your opinion Mr. Ganguly? Who cares for whatever you blabber?? If there's a family business, better concentrate on it or, better coach kids in your area how not to play cricket.

If Saurav were captain
by Patriot on Aug 28, 2012 09:43 PM  | Hide replies

If Saurav was captain I would doubt he would said the same thing.

He now becomes expert on commentary, ESPN pay money for him to talk and he can say what he wants.

Harbajan is still the best top 5 spinner our country has got but has to earn ans fight for his position. Unfortunately we cannot have 2 offie's in Test team and need variety and we picked Ashwin on merit. When he lets us down, maybe Bajji can replace him. As simple as that and add the fact Ashwin also contributes with bat and has a Test century. That makes him an Bowling allrounder. Bye Bye Bhajji for now. work harder and focus on cricket to be back in Indian team.

but that lot of years to get the centuries. So Ashwin is definitely better batsmen. But Bhajji should have retired in 2007 or 06 but some how extended his career. Ganguly is a pain when in team or outside.
