A matter of fact...
by Pradip on Sep 29, 2011 09:11 AM  | Hide replies

There are some people who think it is a crime to bash Sachin Tend. They hit out at Sachin's critics and use abusive language at them.

Agreed. Critics should also not be too harsh while criticing Sach.

I am neither a critic nor a worshipper of Sachin.

What amuses me is that if you call an art of hitting sixes and fours a real heroic act and you justify sportsmen getting all that much money, what do you call that person(s) who invented the electron microscope, bypass surgery, generation of electricity, cat scan, mri, antibiotics, vaccines, anesthesia, supercomputers, lasers to treat cancers?

Does hitting 6s and 4s matter or do the inventions/discoveries that make up our lives matter really?

In UK, people are fond of soccer, but see their contribution to Science. That like intellectual people, see their HDI - very high (Wikipedia)

Pradip we Indian are 50% born fool and we get fooled rest 50% by circumstances. See nowadays we make hero to whom!! Cricketer, actors, politicians etc... No doubt they are very much talented on their respective fields, but bou will never find any contribution from them towards society but what if.. we are poor hungry people.....now one new caste has been created in society, the MIDDLE CLASS( I belongs to) who are very much happy only chansing money and withion family. When we dont have work we indulge into bogus disccion and end with conclussion that nobody can save our country. We are excellent in giving advise to other and all but we dont follow them......to wrap up: We are sleeping, do not disturb.

Absolutely whatever comfort we have is all due to scientists , but Sachin too had made country men numerous times with his sixes and fours, so Sachin is destiny's child.

Dear pradeep yours is a sane comments amng all sachin worshipers and critics.I will add more.Nowadays cricketers and TV FILM stars are making too much money and are considered heros. But no body cares about millions of people who work daily as clerk, acountant, docotr, teacher ,nurse etc.their work is not respectec.Infact a country can not survive without above mentioned professional .cricket is played only in few countries. The rest of developed world like america, china do not have cricket team.e need to set our priorities right. And people like sachin should pay proper taxes and not try get exemption by usning some political contacts.
Steve wagh is involve in a charity in kolkata.imran khan built a cancer hospital. But our great sachin opened a restaurant beside cricket so as goes with dada saurav.Thses GODS of clay feet shud be shown right place.the best way is to stop watching cricket on TV the biggest mny comes by selling TV right.
I will look forward to ur comments my email id is zaff@rediffmail.com

You deserve the wealth more than anyone else in cricket, films and politics. You are a true role model and symbol of Indian's hope and future - which tells that if you work hard and put your mind to it - you can do it.

He is the big-time-betting machine of the Pawar-Dawood-ICC Cricketing world! Ferarri, Luxorious bunglow are all from his ill-gotten-wealth!

Bhikari mentality...
by QandA QandA on Sep 29, 2011 08:52 AM  | Hide replies

All bloggers who are criticizing 10Dulkar or for that matter any other celebrity like Amitabh Bachachan etc are with Bhikari mentality...

It is the same mentality which used to be shown in old Hindi movies... A rich person used 2 be shown as a villain in Old Hindi movies.. That also explains the old Socialist SOviet mentality that existed in India and still exists...

Its VERY SIMPLE LOGIC.. PEOPLE WHO CREATE VALUE IN SOCIETY ARE ALWAYS REWARDED WITH MONEY AND FAME... THE REST OF THE SO CALLED EDUCATED WORKING MIDDLE CLASS JUST CONSUMES VALUE AND SOME OF THEM ON this BLOG will always be live/die with a Bhikari mentality....

What a poor thought... Get fame earn money BUT STILL LIVE IN A POOR HOUSE AND GIVE ALL YOUR MONEY TO THE BEGGARS ON THE ROAD...

You're right! If Tendulkar got 10000000000000000 Billion also, no-one get benefited. And Q&A sir ji, I have seen so many people rich like you and I hate all of them, do you know why??? Its not because of they have more money! but because of they have nothing expect money! I have seen almost 90% rich people uses luxury cars, but when a small kid begs for 2 rupees in the road, they close the CAR windows. Grt is nt it? At least others may not offer 2 rupees, but they offer 1 rupee and watch the happiness of the kid.. That's the difference! and FYI, in movie rich people are shown as Vivian, but you forgot to mention that poor people are shown as HERO!

Tendulkar a Successor to Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam in the Board of CARE Hospitals, and the hospital has been of great help to the needy, especially sportspersons of the state. Tendulkar has been instrumental in the hospital taking care of total expenses for treatment of even state level sportsmen and women.

Tendulkar has also been lending a helping hand to the downtrodden in Tardeo in Mumbai for over 11 years now by providing clothes and other necessities to 250 children besides taking care of their complete education, including books, notebooks, shoes and school uniforms.

Tendulkar has helped over 300 have-nots so far through the Dr. Agarwal Eye Hospital in Chennai since October 2004 to get their cataract and eye grafting operations done. The champion batsman said he was unwilling to talk about this aspect of his as he did not want to seek publicity from these causes.

"Sachin is involved with 'Apnalaya' in Tardeo, Care Hospitals in Hyderabad and Dr. Agarwal Eye Clinic in Chennai, besides the 'Make Wish Foundation', which has been doing a remarkable job for over a decade."

Unarguably Sachin Tendulkar is a "silent crusader" when it comes to charity. We have been following him since 18 years and he gave us all moments of joy and happiness that makes us proud to be born in TENDULKAR ERA.

Sachin dreams of an India which is more than just hope, and to fulfill it he is actively involved in various programs for social upliftme

Some persons grow rich by following a business, sports, arts or whatever and rise in class ( middle class to whatever).

Some people remain great and remember their humble beginnings and live a helping life.

Some entirely forget and lead a selfish life.
These are rich men with small minds.

Compare the houses where JRD Tata lived, Mr.Narayan murthy lives with the houses built by Mukesh Ambani and Tendulkar.

Afterall what is a home and what is a house?
