True Mr.Amarjeet singh, Considering the number of matches both these persons have played, even Boycott's mother would have a better success rate.

Amarjeet Singh:
And Shoaib is writing not for personal reasons but for charity? Eh? ;-)
BTW you can directly write to ICC to make ONLY the last wicket partnership official in any given match and consider all other batsmen as having played for the opposition.. :)

Well said. we remember the end point. We remember Dhoni's 90 in the world Cup Final and dont remember Gambhirs performance. and we also forget Jayawardhanes performance because SL lost. I feel alergic to the statements like playing for win playing for country etc. For gods sake please accept that none of us are doing it and dont expect Cricketers doing it. And no cricketer is doing that. Every cricketer is trying to play well and extend longeivity of career. It is their profession.
It's only a book. If you like it read it or if you can't stand it do not read it. In his book he has right to say what he wants. Another matter that Shoiab is no Bradman. Ignore him or he wins the selling game of his book.
just beats me - Why should Akhtar apologize - this is his perception and to him that's the reality. One certainly may beg to differ but why should someone seek the apology!! why does the icon need to be on a pedestal; why can not they be criticised rightly or wrongly ; after all thats what free speech means.
why need for apology ? he share what is in his mind.. Sachin is no god. Even he openly said that he dont like to bat against abdul razzak.. So doesnt make any sense..
Guys like Shukla and Akhtar are hungry for publicity, the fact that neither Sachin nor Dravid cared to comment on this issue shows their greatness. They don't need certificates from likes of Akhtar to prove their greatness.
