The bowling was a total flop whether it is Test or ODI.
ODI failure was mostly due to poor boowling as well as intermittent rain which made it difficult for the team bowling second. Snow makes it difficult to grip the ball.
The only positive thing about bowling was that Ashwin could adapt to conditions quickly and bowled well overall. Probably he should have played ahead of Harbhajan in Tests.
Pace bowlers lacked consistency and looked pedestrian. You do not need express quickies to play ODIs. When India won the World Cup and WCC they had bowlers like Kapil who got excellent support from Binny, Madan Lal and Amarnath who did not have any speed, but bowled intelligently and within their limits. The current crop lacked the spirit.

Hay check the scores only 32.2 overs they were 242 image if they played 50 overs. We don't have bowlers to defend the total. England played better but we played worst then Zimbawbe.
One tour should not bring disappointment to Indian fans. England too had gone through such humiliating series losses in the immediate past. We should think of future. It was bad injuries which ruined our team and its morale. Dhoni was excellent as usual as captain. Raina, Kohli, Rohit, Pujara, Manish Pandey, Yuvraj and other youngsters will make us proud in future

Dhoni was excellent as a captain!!?? Bullcrap Arrogance & complacency has crept into Dhoni's captaincy after the world cup victory. He looked clueless, uninspirational & jaded on the entire tour

add to that he got a bunch of injured seniors who should have refused to tour, plus bad weather too..it is high time he brought fresh talent in the team for the future..

Dhoni was never , even a good captain, he was a Lucky one. Before brainless favouring, one should analyse his foolish decisions, poor wicket keeping & disability to bat on pitch not Batting Paradise one. I agree he is an excellent Money Mintor.

England have beat us black and blue in all circumstances and all forms of cricket. Dhoni and his foolish men had no answers. THis is what happens when even Ashwin had to bat for 50 runs or so!. These pathetic situation is because of preparing dead tracks and giving no incentive to bowling. India was more of a force when the spin quartet was around though no one can bat in that foursome. Still we recorded memorable victories. There has been a continuous slump ever since as people like Shastri started projecting themselves as batsmen after entering into the team as a bowler! But there is no one to turn the other way around - start as a batsmen and turn into a bowler later...this is because of the heroism associated with batting and mauling everyone on dead tracks.
People should wake up to the fact that playing cricket in Indian wickets is a game of unequals when only batting prowess determines the fate of a match. Until this situation is corrected we cannot avoid such debacles when the opponent also has a few quality batsmen in its fold!

All the players out showing injuries but hid their inability to put up show and their efficiency.Our guys are unfit to have the tag CHAMPS.Second time also we got a tag it's fluke
