WASH WAS NEVER WHITER

Traditionally such disasters reflect on the captain - often put an end to his career. MSD unscathed. Comparison with 1974 is uncalled for. That was early in the cricketing season. Around June. Clearly unsuitable for Indians unused to weather dependent swing in England.

India should never go to UK for playing cricket except in good weather, unfortunately good weather never happens there. We played good cricket and we are a very strong team.

These guys celebrate as if they won world cup.
All they did was beating a second XI from India.
They do deserve Vaughn & Hussain.

IT IS NOW CLEAR .............
by Kd Narang on Sep 17, 2011 10:27 AM

It is Now clear that Commonwelth Cup won by India on 2 April 2011 was actually bought by corporate Houses to boost cricket and their own market in India.
Common-welth victory in April has nothing to do with Indian Talent in Sport.
Team India ,when exposed to Real Test- tumbled.
Commonwelth Tag ( So Called "world Cup" )
will remain with India for next four years with out even deserving for it.
A " purchased Victory" will not help India boosting its image at International sporting arena.
Only Dhoni and couple of indivisuals will get crores of endorsements because of FOOLISH Cricketing crowd /Fans ....

Swami, you are out of mind I think. England have beat us black and blue in all circumstances and all forms of cricket. Dhoni and his foolish men had no answers. THis is what happens when even Ashwin had to bat for 50 runs or so!. These pathetic situation is because of preparing dead tracks and giving no incentive to bowling. India was more of a force when the spin quartet was around though no one can bat in that foursome. Still we recorded memorable victories. There has been a continuous slump ever since as people like Shastri started projecting themselves as batsmen after entering into the team as a bowler! But there is no one to turn the other way around - start as a batsmen and turn into a bowler later...this is because of the heroism associated with batting and mauling everyone on dead tracks.

People should wake up to the fact that playing cricket in Indian wickets is a game of unequals when only batting prowess determines the fate of a match. Until this situation is corrected we cannot avoid such debacles when the opponent also has a few quality batsmen in its fold!

Horrible ODI series in Eng reg
by sushil kaushal on Sep 17, 2011 10:24 AM  | Hide replies

India Whitewashed.
Indian team needs to take some rest so that it can recover for next IPL game. After all that's far more imporatant than the concluded series.
