Any player who appeared in an Internation match should not be allowed to participate in any IPL,XPL,ZPL etc with in one year of his last appearence in the International match.

I thought Cook played even better with many of his key players absent... :)
Why don't you think Cook was leading England B team? :)

Sohail, congrats for killing your coach Bob Woolmer when you guys failed :)
Congrats for investing so much in terrorism. To put money on terrorism, you guys had to earn money badly. So, u had to make money by spot fixing, match fixing, etc. Now, our team has beaten u well in hockey. So, maybe since u lost u will kill ur dutch coach???
And dont worry about PCB. When u dont have money to buy food or clothing, come begging at the door of BCCI.

Time to bring in young fast bowlers
by venu sense on Sep 17, 2011 11:45 AM  | Hide replies

I think time has come for some soul search for MS Dhoni. We all know that we cannot be a great team without genuine fast bowlers. We have two promising youngsters in Varun Arron and Yadav who consistently bowl above 140 KMPH.
It’s time to bring them in and guide them and develop them into world class genuine fast bowlers. There is no point in fantasizing with RP Singh and Praveen Kumar. They are and were always suspect at that level of cricket.
The writing is on the wall for Indian cricket; develop, nurture genuine fast bowlers or perish. The most painful fact is we have raw young fast bowlers who are not given adequate opportunities and are allowed to age on sidelines of Indian cricket.
Sometimes I have this fear that there is some invincible force deliberately discouraging our fast bowling youngsters. However it’s time to change, bring on young fast bowlers. Never ask them to bowl line and length at expense of speed. Encourage them to bowl fast with line, length etc. of course not to forget the vital Yorkers and bouncers.

yes well said.one wonders why varun aaron wasn't given a break in this series at all.regressive thinking by dhoni and the team mgmt if they thgt a deserving youngster needs to carry drinks before he can hold the ball.he was wasted in eng.who knows if he would have been a sensation in england if played like when shoaib akhtar and brett lee exploded on the scene 10 yrs ago.and who knows if he could have turned india's fortunes!!!

Aaron given many runs during tour match. may be that made him to think about to taking risk? our guys goes on experience than talent, and talents like rohit/jadeja are wasting it. and findings like badri pujara gets odd matches when seniors comes in, gotta go away... this system is really wrong, another scapegoat is vijay, this guy is much talented but he comes as in replacement of sehwag/gauti? do you think he can perform? he knows he will be thrown when they returns .. then performance will be that level only.. because he will be playing under pressure.

anyway .. my message is failure is a way for success, this team failed, but we will bounce back.

The invisible forces you mentioned are:

1) Dead Indian tracks that will only let the ball rise to the toe level

2) Over patronage of batting by Indian public and the Organizers partly due to ODI and T20s.

3) Tendency of bowlers to convert into batsmen or all rounders as a rule rather than as an exception. This is because of both 1 and 2 above

Government should suspend the BCCI and take the ownership of Indian Cricket team. Once any player is selected to the Indian team he should not be allowed to play any IPL,XPL,ZPL etc.

If a player is out of the team continuously for more than a year, then Governament may consider allowing them to play IPL until his re-entry to the Indian cricket team. So, thumb rule is no player is allowed to play IPL with in one year of his last appearance in the International match.

Even the score is 250 or below. Talent should luck and make a win. Then only the team is appreciated with fielding and bowling restrictions

they will come to india and start crying upset stomach, hot weather, hectic tour, no practice match etc...cry babies...had a bomb exploded in guwahati while they are in mumbai, they would have gone back home.. but see the indian players..even after london riots stayed back...although they lost, they still are the winners.
