That Bowling has been the nemises of India for over two decades now. After kapil Dev there were no match winning bowlers (excluding Kumble perhaps in patches). And everyone wants to bat and hit sixes. Dhoni shamelessly expects his tail enders to bat as well so he and other specialist batsman can relax in pavilion. Horrible strategy that Indians have - not focussing on bowling department at all. Fault lies with the board favouring preparing dead tracks and so called spinning tracks where the ball does not even rise to the toe level. No one in right sense of mind would like to bowl on such tracks so where does the impetus for bowling come from. And we have commentators who will marvel and sing praises about a picture perfect coverdrive or ondrive or straight drive by the so called "master blasters" when in reality the bowlers hands have been tied by the cricket board even before the game has begun!
Its high time, the management and promotion of cricket be handed over to private parties who will (can) be held accountable (in monetary terms) for the results.

Very well said. Everybody is blaming Indian batting for India's white-wash in recently concluded Test Series. But it is our bowling which had been a culprit. On a bowler friendly tracks, the Indian bowlers bowled extremely poor. Let me tell you that against Pakistan or South Africa, this Englan batting would have struggled to reach even 300 runs in any of the innings.

First of all if you really consider match winning bowlers than Kumble is far ahead than Kapil, you can verify the same from statistics though on sentiment quotient Kapil might rank higher, Next coming to bowling it seems there is something seriously wrong, even Pakistan with arid pitches produces fast bolwers consistently but something is lacking in India and the board has to seriously look into it. Present Indian team is no way the real World champions, winning the world cup was possible because of home advantage. I still believe 2003 Saurav's team was much better

that is the very first reason,rest follow. Times are gone when our batting used to save face of our bad bowling and bad selection practices. Same can happen to Laxmi Mittal and Aggarwal from vedanta when angrez find opportune time to have their way.

Where did Gujarat Issue was when: 1. India won T-20 World Cup? 2. India won ODI World Cup? 3. India thrashed Australia,Pakistan and Sri-lanka out of World Cup? 4. It became Number one in every format of the game?
It all concludes...whatever happened in Gujarat augured well for Indian Cricket Team as per your theory...since most good things in cricket happened after Gujarat issue.
Probably, India lost heavily because Modi is being targeted by Courts...as per your theory.

RP should have been tried, it would have stopped angrez from gaining confidence using the dutch-german origin player of SA kieswetter. first 5 overs killed india, should have had munaf in first 5 overs or RP. vinay is not ready yet and praveen should be removed from first 5 overs if he was not ready...
what is use of calling ashwin an all rounder , mr srikant. Even angrez has two spinner.. Ashwin could be an allrounder versing bangladesh but not angrez, same for praveen and vinay kumar as well. Why not try pragyan or rahul sharma. they were not even tried in practice matches lest india find them good.
desis have created same problem with bresnan, swann, broad, etc. desis koha good length balls kooha rise phar mharnaa hein. vaahey angrez khaar raahey hein, cook nheey backfoot phaar jaa khaar rising ball koo maarha. This is how usneey push back khiyaa indian bowling kooha.

Get your facts right. Parthiv played for Indian Team way before IPL started. He wasnot found through IPL.
