Yes I agree with you, IPL should be limited to 15-20 days only not otherwise two months.
India is lacking in planning to tackle English main bowlers. India is always had the problem with bresnan . Remember the world cup match against England on flattest track . He got five wickets and put breaks on scoring . Otherwise india could have scored more and won the match . Thankfully we had zaheer who got us back in match . In that match too swan bowled superbly while our spinner were struggling . Here we don’t have zaheer so bowling look helpless. Above all we have regional selector Srikant ( he is not national selector ). India should plan in such way that they should hit swan badly in middle over which will force England captain to bowl bresanan in middle over so they will be best bowler short in last overs. Now to hit swan out we need some one like Yusuf . So when bresan comes again yousef should play cautiously. There is no use of tiwari as we have issue with bowling so jadeja will be useful as he can play swan better in middle over and his tight line and length will be difficult to English bowler . India should go for varun or RP instead of vinay who seems to be out of touch . It will some variety in bowling . For England they are playing season in place but for india domestic matches are not going on.
it was expected on the card , no surprise , our after world cup india team members does not need to play any game as they are all already billionare - this is the problem in india ,until unless we change all the players we are not going to win any match in future even with kenya etc ,
this will teach them that its more important to spend time working hard on the ground rather than shooting for pepsi,undergarments,revital capsules,aircell,airtel etc
Praveen Kumar, Munaf Patel and Vinaykumar are precariously slow bowlers and under no circumstances could be called pace bowlers. The Chennai Pace Foundation has become a joke as no talented pace bowler emerged from it in last five years. Ever since Javagal Srinath retired we were unable to find a real fast bowler. Pakistan, Australia, England and South Africa have excellent bowlers in their side. But India even if our batsmen score runs bowlers make that total look very small for opponents. Ashwin has proved a big disaster in the team. Pragyan Oza must replace him in remaining matches.
