More than Mumbai Indians winning the Champions League Trophy it was that Royal Challengers Bangalore LOST IT.
There were no devils in the pitch and barring Bhajji and ofcourse Malinga - others could have been milked for the required runs.
RCB possibly were in too much of a hurry to wind up the issue ! There was simply no reason to LOSE the match. Mr.Ray Jennings watch out ! (Were you the one who said Gayle wasn't the ONLY player in the team the other day ?)
Well done Mumbai Indians - credit because they have done it without the big three. Enjoy the celebrations !

Girish I am a MI fan an a thorough Mumbaikar. But I must tell you that your statements couldn't be more true.With the kind of team they have, sloppy fielding, poor bowling (except for the brilliance of Malinga) and horrible batting, they did not even deserve to qualify for the semis - forget the finals. Even with Malinga's heroics, 139 should have been convincingly chased.
However, I would like to give due credit to the way the MI team played without loosing heart. They handled the pressure well. RCB got a little over confident is my personal feeling. They just wanted to finish it. That's why even an under capable team like MI won the game. You are right. RCB lost the game.

Personally I would still rates CSK as the best prepared team amongst all of them. They have everything. Best players, incredible talent, superb batting, fielding and bowling- no wonder they won the last editions. This time they just got outplayed by the lucky batting of Malinga. They were just unlucky. May be close second would be NSW or the Red backs. But definitely not MI. I've accepted it. Have you all?
Last oneday in England Kohali made a Century and give good hand for India but Dhoni Zero skill of captaincy India loose that match also and then public say kohli play for self not for India. What magic of thinking when any one hit a century and then lost match as like Devid waner also in CL-20 semifinal.
Dhoni has done a bad show in England. His captaincy suddenly become Zero. His management skill become zero. He do not draw any single match in England.
