Raina is specialist in T20 and 50 over matches. He should not be rested in short form of game. Dhoni can be rested.

Both need rest. They are playing continuously. Passion becomes work after sometime. That is not what is needed.

It is proved beyond doubt that this particular match was lost owing to bad batting by Dhoni....this big mouth has just survived because of performances of others all this time. I think the board should consider resting Dhoni for a year so that he can improve his skills.

pls stop commenting about these useless matches..it is meaningless to support any particular team as it is not being played any particular country players in each team...

All batsmen of CSK should have known from the earlier match between NSW and MI about the nature of the pitch.

CSK bowlers did not do badly in restricting T&T to 123.

CSK batting collectively let them dowm.

The harakiri was started by the woefully-out-of-form Murali Vijay. Being a local guy and one of the mainstay of CSK batting in earlier IPL matches, he should have been intelligent enough to understand that the pitch was not conducive for stroke play, that his team was not facing a target of some thing like 180 or even 150, all that was needed was to keep looking for safe singles and twos. In fact this match should have been ideal for him to regain his form. By staying at the wicket for long - say upto 12th over or so, he could have faced 30 to 40 balls, scored something above 25 and helped Hussey to play the occasional shots at the other end with the comfort of having wickets in hand.

The slide started by Murali was aggravated by thoughtless batting thereafter by Raina, Badrinath, Hussey and Saha.

In particular, it was irritating to see Badrinath ape Rahul Dravid and play delivery after delivery straight to fielders, without attempting the singles which were the need and only need of the hour. Locals rate him too high for nothing. He has to get out of the kindergarten of batting.

One does not know what Saha is doing in the team. Aniruddh Srikanth might have been more valuable with his bat and fielding.

CSK do not deserve to reach Semis.
